I am on my feet all day and these are OK boots for that. They are lighter then most boots and are safe to wear to the airport, they do not ring. I recommend them to everyone I work with. The best thing to do is get a good insertable insole for them. I wear 10 1/2 mens in America and ended up with the equilavent of 11 here. That caused it to potentially blister in the heel. But overall they are a good boot. They shine easily and are very light on the feet. One gripe I have about them is that the sole feels a little slippery to me. I have been wearing Timberland boots for years (these are my first Dr. Martins) and the grip is inferior to timberland) when walking on waxed tiled floors I tend to feel a little unstable in the grip department. The sole feels springy whereas timberland boots are a bit hard on the arches and heels. I would say this was money well spent after wearing them for a few weeks now.
I liked the looks of it. Treadwear horrible, I was surprised that it wore so quickly. I have only been wearing them for three months and the treadwear is noticeable. Be ready to buy an insole insert for this one to even be marginally comfortable.
