Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
The shoe would be good for those who are handicapped and have a hard time getting shoes on and off. I would recomend them for those who wear regular size shoe size widths.
If you wear the wide width like I do, you may find that the velcro strip falls a we bit short if you have a problem with swollen feet. I couldn't get the strap to attach to the velcro strip because of this. If the velcro strip was extended; the shoe would have fit fine.
I would recommend the Prop?t Tour WalkerT Velcro shoe style that looks simular to this pair. There is plenty of velcro on Tour Walkers T Velcro shoes to allow for swollen feet.
