I found that every pair of shoes I owned hurt my feet terribly after 2 hours of walking. I finally consulted a foot doc and found out that not only did I have arthritis in my feet but I had heel spurs as well. Then I went shopping - very hard to find size 11-11 1/2 and even harder to find shoes appropriate to my particular foot problems. I had a vacation planned with the family members including grandsons to visit a large zoo and a theme park. My daughter told me about friends with foot problems who wore Dansko shoes so an internet search brought me to [...] and the Dansko Claudias. I ordered them - wore them and was able to enjoy an extensive walking vacation. The heel height and adjustable straps greatly helped with my foot problems. I will probably buy another pair in another color soon.
