This was my first time ordering shoes on line, and I have to admit I was a bit uneasy about it. When the shoes came in, and I slipped them on I thought: "This is do-able." There was no "break in" period, which for me was unheard of. I wore them to work with a pair of back up sneakers on the ready, but was pleasantly surprised when I didn't need to switch.
They look good with work casual and even better with jeans.
I first found the heel height a little uncomfortable, but that was from years of defaulting to sneakers out of desperation when shoes I had bought and thought I could make work just weren't ever going to be comfortable enough to wear.
Normally, I have hard time trying to find shoes to fit (6.5 wide or extra wide) often leaving the shoe store tired, frustrated and empty handed. From now on I will seek out "Soft Spots."

This is my third pair of Soft Spots and I am delighted to have them. The Nubuck is so soft and supple. These are beautiful, comfortable shoes.
