I'm a nurse and am on my feet for at least 9 hrs at a time. The problem I found was my toes would get crunched and throbbed at the end of the day. My daughter had a pair of these shoes and told me to try them on. Well, the shoes were 2 sizes to big, yet I couldn't believe how comfortable they were, even while being to big. I ordered the shoes in my size, took me about 1 shift to break them in, and am totally pleased with them. With these earth shoes, the heel is slightly lower, keeping my toes from being crunched. After 9 hrs, my feet don't hurt, they are very comfortable, and I'm considering another pair to wear when I'm off work.
