I bought these as an all-around shoe for gym, walking and casual wear. I thought they were similar to the older Merell Phazer, but the sole is far, far less substantial.

I bought these for working in a retail environment where I'm on my feet the whole shift. Much more comfortable than anything I've worn in years. Walked down a damp grassy slope and the Vibram sole gripped like golf cleats. I couldn't be happier.

Nice-looking shoe, as are most Merrell shoes. Odd sole, would wear out quickly, I suspect.

I wear these shoes 3-4 days a week to work in a lab. they are excellent for being on my feet a lot. Were great from the first day with no break-in period. They provide great cushioning.

I bought these to be versatile and they've worked out perfectly--they're comfortable enough to wear all day, stylish enough to wear anywhere, but still casual enough that I don't feel dressy. I've gone hiking in these shoes and then clubbing the same night and never felt out of place. They look great and feel great; the rubber soles don't slip, even on wet surfaces, and they've been holding up quite well after a while of daily use. Great shoes.
