It really is TRAGIC that a shoe as well made as these, with a market as large as the American market, DOES NOT size shoes to our standards.
45 a half size to small, 46 a half size too large. I would love to have tried these on, had them fit like 99.9% of american sized shoes do, but I cannot. They appear to be a fantastic pair of shoes, BUT WHAT GOOD IS THAT IF THEY SIMPLY DO NOT FIT? What's with the starting at a half size sizing ANYWAY. DISAPPOINTED AND JUST A TAD UPSET.

I am an RN and if you ask just about anyone who works in healthcare, especially nursing, what kind of shoes they prefer, they will undoubtedly reply that Danskos are the best. So when my husband who is a lawyer complained of sore feet I bought him a pair of nursing shoes (Danskos). He loves them and says they feel great and look great.
