I bought these shoes because i do a lot of kayaking trips. They are great in the water and they drain instantly which is important while trudging through the water. I don't have to worry about were i'm gonna step next because they protect my feet.

I bought the shoe not knowing that it was a water type sneaker, but I love it, I wear them all the time and they make a great everyday sneaker(wet or dry). Merrells are the only sneakers I wear because they are the most comfortable for me. I could even were then as slippers-they are that comfy.

I got this shoe a year ago and have worn the shoe hiking in the Canadian Rockies and in Costa Rica. The shoe is amazing! What's nice is that they are extremely light-weight and breathable. I wear them with or without socks, and when you come across a river or stream, you can go through without worrying about slipping or stepping on a sharp rock. I love these shoes so much that I wear them almost every day, at work or at play. They don't provide much ankle support for long hikes (I did a 13 mile hike on the beach and rain forest in Costa Rica and was hurting near the end), but other than that, they have been phenomenal. People also compliment me on my cool shoes!

I bought these to wear to the lake but haven't made it there yet. I've been wearing them lots of other places - weekends around town, casual Fridays at work, etc.

They fit just right once I added insoles to take up the extra space my narrow feet didn't occupy. The adjustable lacing system was also very helpful in that regard.

So far I am very pleased.

very comfortable shoe for water sports or even lite hiking. takes about four hours to dry completely
