Love these Dr. Scholl's! Have worn them for more than 20 years since the originals were introduced. Wonderful, fun shoes for those who like the originals. This eco-friendly version is a trendy enhancement that I hope will last. Walking in them takes a bit of practice at first. However, the "exercise bump" in the wooden toebed seems a bit lower than in the originals, as does the wood platform. The new Brazilian wood base and the leather is even more beautiful. Got them in a lovely olive that is bright and colorful not drab. New fastener seems more secure since it snaps and hooks into place, where as the original one was just a slider with hook and eye. Fastener was a bit stiff to open at first, so be careful if you have long nails. Wonderful shoes to slide on around the house or to run quick errands. Not a shoe for walking a lot. Leather takes some breaking in if you have a wide foot. Check out all the other Dr. Scholl's. There are so-o-o many new styles and varieties! Not your mother's (or daughter's) Dr. Scholl's anymore!

I ordered the red and they really look like a dark pink. They are so beautiful. I love them.

Love the shoes but they have chipped in some places that I am unhappy about. Other than that I love the shoes.
