Great lightweight, breathable, stylish shoe. I love that the toe box is wide enough that it does not squeeze your toes and deform your feet. I always look for shoes like this. I agree with the previous reviewer, however: the crepe rubber that surrounds the shoe gets dirty almost immediately. This relegates the shoe to only very casual usage. I'd be much happier and rate this a strong five starts if they stayed cleaner.

This is an excellent casual shoe that can be worn with jeans or chinos. Its closest cousin is perhaps the good old American gym shoe, although these look much more up-to-date. With an upper made of hemp fabric and a sole of soft crepe these are very cool and comfortable shoes best worn in dry weather. The insole offers much better arch support than I expected.

The down-side, at least for those sensitive to appearances, is that these shoes can stain and dirty easily.

I absolutely love this shoe. it is extremely comfortable and easy on the eyes. The hemp construction is eco friendly which is also a bonus. I find the construction to be quite good. The fact that the shoe is manufactured from several different materials adds to the appeal of this shoe. It has moved to the front of my shoe closet and will find lots of use everyday with jeans and casual apparel.
