Form has to follow function for me . The first thing I saw in keen shoes is they look like a foot. I have a wide foot from my toes to my arch with an average heel. Not only was the toe box cofortable they fit in the heel.
these are my first pair of keens but not my last. The shoe fits like it looks.........They just fit.

I ordered a pair of Venturas in my true size and found them to be too small. The staff was terrific about guiding me through an easy exchange process and the second pair ( a half size larger) is perfect. I liked that they came with a choice of laces and I chose to go with the white ones for a more classic look. These babies aren't subtle and when the comments come they are uniformly positive. My social standing has been bumped up by these Venturas. I'm now officially way cool. Thanks Keen.

I have 4 pair of ventura/ventura II. This is the first canvas lace-up. As usual with keen, comfort right out of the box. The Ventura is retro with contemporary style. Love every pair!

No complaints about this shoe. Wear them with shorts or jeans casual slacks . If they get dirty just throw them in with the wash.

This shoe takes me back to my childhood when canvas shoes were the ONLY athletic shoes. When all shoes that we call "athletic" today were called "tennis shoes" then.

Not as supportive as my other Keen shoes & sandals. What they lack in support the make up in style points. They are comfortable but you wouldn't want to spend all day on your feet wearing these. Great kickin around the house on a lazy day.

Good shoe with quality build. Nothing special though - and not as comfortable as other Keen shoes I've had. That said, they don't come close to being uncomfortable, and you can wear them all day without any regrets. Keen also provides an extra pair of shoe laces in a different color, so you can customize the look a bit.

These are my first set of Keens and I have to say I like them a lot. They felt a bit weird at first as if I were standing on a shallow hill, but I acclimated to the shoes very quickly and I love wearing them.

As admitted by Keen's Customer Service Department this shoe is not made from the same last as the Venice or Briggs (formerly Bronx) models which have wide toeboxes suitable for wide feet.
If you are drawn to Keen shoes because they are cut wide, the Ventura will not fit your foot.
Aside from that it's a nice looking shoe. Semed very flexible and light. Just wish it fit.

This was the only shoe I took to st. Maarten on a 2 month excursion and was very impressed. From beach to road to club this shoe proved to be both comfortable and stylish not to mention it breathes well and hod up to e erything I tree at it. If you are traveling to the tropics this is your ultimate touring shoe. Two major thumbs up to Keen.
