On our three-week trip to Europe I took only one pair of shoes--my black suede (professional) Danskos. I wore them day and night, for all occasions and all places, even to the theater in Paris. They were steady on cobble-stone streets and steep hills, and I always felt appropriately dressed. Dansko shoes are like best friends: comfortable, reliable, and always ready to go.
I love them.

I have both the black suede and brown suede pairs in size 40, I wear a US 9.5. The 40 is perfect for me in a Dansko shoe. The Raphael is very comfortable and I wear them every day at work with trousers. The shoe does not look that great with skirts. I really like the heighth these shoes give me and the comfort is amazing.

This shoe is great for people with foot problems. I have to wear orthotics all the time. As a result, it has been difficult to find a dress shoe that I can wear, until I found Dansko. I can even wear these shoes without the orthotics because they provide a lot of arch support.
