These shoes were pefect right out of the box. I have had two foot surgeries and they caused no pain. They fit low enough on my ankle that they do not rub. The cushioning on the bottom added a lot of comfort. I got the dk grey and they match all my charcoal shades of pants which I was having difficulty matching the regular grey shoes with. I highly recommend these shoes.
