I was looking for a tall boot with pointy toes and a mid heel since I am tall and this fits the bill! I wear the boots with jeans going out on the town or with a skirt / split skirts to work. They were a little difficult to get on at first because there is no zipper but after a couple of times I can now slip in and out easily. I was also concerned about the boot fitting my large calfs but the material has enough give that I had no problem and it doesn't feel or look tight. Plus the shafts stay up instead of sliding down my calfs like other boots I've worn in the past. I bought the chestnut and now ordered the same in black!
