Shoes fit great once I slipped them on. I love the design, classic & elegant, yet comfortable to wear all day. Best to put shoes on with shoe horn.
Only drawback, if you would call it, needs to be a tad bit shinier.

pro: I was amazed on the "perfect" fit once I coaxed my feet into them. Nice & snug all-around and comfortable to wear for extended hours (10+ hrs).
con: due to the snug fit, I felt some pinching and rubbing on the left ankle bone but that probably from my walking style.

from the pics, the shoes look shiny but they are not; more of satin look but it's a clean look. The sole is the "original" Dr. Marten's sole but much thinner (it has all the Resistances).

I was surprise by the comfort for shoes Made in China, but we'll have to see how the quality is. BTW, I received e-mail from DrMartens.com that explained the reason for outsourcing production (cost-cutting). BUMMER...
