These shoes are ready for action right out of the box. Great looking and very comfortable with no break-in period. May run a half size small as I ordered what my normal size is and returned them for a half size larger. My only misgiving and reason for not giving highest rating is my disappointment that they are made in China. I am no pollyanna regarding the US shoe industry but I guess I expected more from H.S. Trask's self styled motto "Born in Boseman." Plus they are a bit on the pricy side. They appear well made, however and I guess we will see how they last.
