I have purchased these shoes in a 9.5B, 9D, and 9B for "my guys" (husband and sons). For guys whose comfort expectations come from wearing soft sneakers, these are comfortable and easy to wear when the occasion (work, dressing up) requires.
Comfortable for walking to work. The rubber heels eventually wear down from lots of walking.
Waterproofing helps them stay nice-looking - a bonus for this all-around shoe.
The grippy rubber sole and nicely cushioned removable insole are not as formal as traditional leather-bottomed men's shoes.

THESE SHOES WERE THE PERFECT SURPRISE FOR MY HUSBAND'S BIRTHDAY. [...] HE IS USUALLY HARD TO PLEASE AND HE IS ALWAYS COMPLAINING ABOUT HIS FEET. HOWEVER, SINCE HE SLIPPED THESE ON, HE'S BEEN WEARING THEM EVERYWHERE. HE BRAGGED ABOUT THEM SO MUCH UNTIL I HAD TO ORDER MY BROTHER A PAIR. HIS FEET ARE EXTRA WIDE AND HE COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT THEY CAME IN HIS SIZE. HE LOVED THE CUSHY BOTTOM AND THE FACT THAT THEY WERE ATTRACTIVE AS WELL AND I LOVED THE FACT THAT THEY MADE ME FEEL GREAT AS A SISTER AND A WIFE!!

I wear these everyday for work. I have them in both Black and Brown. They were recommended to me by my Podiatrist because they are designed and made by New Balance which is the best shoes for people with feet problems.
Great fit, but cut too low in back.

Good looking shoe, simple classic design. Would be a perfect fit for those of us with fat feet, except that it's cut low in the back and tends to cut into the back of your heel. I wear these to formal occasions or business meetings, but prefer the "Windsor" for everyday. Dunham's "Windsor" shoe is much more comfortable, but has a more casual appearance.

I have a low arch, and the shoes feel just a bit loose on me - but using orthotics and tying the shoes tightly compensates. For someone with a typical or high arch, they would probably feel just right. Otherwise, the shoes are exactly what I wanted. They are comfortable, yet look nice with a pair of dress slacks, or khakis, at work.

These are really great shoes. If you're a Rockport fan, you will like these shoes. They are an excellent combination of comfort and style -- they look great if you're wearing a suit, but you'll feel like you're wearing comfortable walking shoes. I tried on a pair in the shoe store, but they only had brown. I bought that pair, but also wanted a pair in black. When I got home I shopped on-line and purchased them [...] and I was glad I did!
