I was a little disappointed at first, because I thought the red ones were going to be like the calssic ox-bloods. Instead, they were a softer leather with darker hue of red, but they have grown on me. There's a discrete "funkiness" to these, as the red doesn't pop out at you, yet they're definately not the staid browns and blacks you usually see. Only one complaint-- what happened to the yellow stitching on the soles for Doc Martens? I miss that!
