This is a classic design that will never go out of style. The shoe?s quality is obvious and it is also comfortable. I have the black cordovan which is stiffer than the calf leather. For some reason the tongue on my left shoe is not straight, but this is a minor complaint. Allen Edmonds is slightly below in quality to Alden shoes (the other American shoe maker left), but they are also cheaper. Overall, these shoes are heads and shoulders above the vast majority of shoes out there.

These are the Cadillac of shoes. If you want best (and possible the only remaining) example of American shoe making, you need not look around...but, they are expensive and made to be resoled. Besides, Shell leather looks even better with age and wear!

The most beautiful Cordovan!! I picked up the Burgundy preowned.
Extraordinarily comfortable!! I will soon be purchasing Black Cordovan!! Allen Edmonds offer reasonable refurbish also. Perfect!!
