It's been decades since I have worn Bostonians, and these Prescotts are considerably lighter that the loafers I remember wearing. This is not a shoe one gets new soles or heels for--when you wear them out you simply chuck them out.

They are VERY comfortable, though, one of the "best feeling" shoes that I have ever worn. I can feel the shoes forming around my feet as I wear them at this early stage--a day will come when they feel like slippers.

I am curious as to how they will be after a few months of steady wear. For now though, they are an exceptionally good pair of loafers, and only my unfamiliarity with this model prevents me from giving the Prescott 5 stars.
