Was hoiping to duplicate a pair that I bought in N.Y. some years ago.
The contemporary version is but a shadow of the original, which was flexable and made of softer leather.
I may have chosen badly, but it is difficult at a distance to determine
the quality of a product. The new ones are very stiff and inflexable.
