I bought these shoes for a trip to Europe. I did not bother to "break them in" at all and it did not matter. I wore them every day for 10 days and walked for hours and hours and hours in them and my feet felt fantastic! I almost want to buy another pair simply to have a back up should they ever wear out . . . I am in love with these shoes :)
