My son uses these for daily shoes around town during the sloppy winter season. I buy Keens a half size bigger than usual because they tend to run a little small. They are very sturdy, keep his feet dry, and they stay on well. This highlights one of his favorite features -- no shoe laces! I liked them so much, I want a pair for myself.

The shoe is cute and comfortable. I like the elastic closure. It's nice to wear on wet streets. If you're lazy and pull one shoe off with the other shoe, you can scratch up the black rubber part of the shoe. Don't be lazy like I was!

Bought these because they looked like they might be a cold-weather alternative to my favorite Newport H2s. I think they will work - good support and not heavy to wear. Had to go up 1/2 a size mainly for width.

Two hours outside in the Seattle rain, in a playfield and woodchips, and my feet were the only part of me NOT wet and cold! Keen does a fantastic job providing comfortable, unique, fun and practical shoes. These are perfect for days at the park with the kids, running errands all day in the rain and anything in between.

Have yet to use it in a winter environment, but the tread is aggressive and looks as it would be stable on snow and ice. It's construction is solid. There is good arch support and the toebox is nice and wide, esp. for someone with wide feet. Thanks!
