No, I would not recommend this to a friend

No depth in the toe box because of the very padded insole. Couldn't even get my foot in, and I don't have an extremely high instep.
Very disappointed, I thought a Drew would be much roomier. In fact, I thought this shoe might even be too big...

The cognac color is very rich and can be dressy or casual. I bought them for the wide width and comfort. They have two, cushy sole inserts. Very nice.
