I have plantar fascitis and this shoe was recommended by my podiatrist. It is the best shoe i have ever worn for my condition. It is a little stiff - but you just need a shoe horn to slip it on. My doctor told me to only wear Dansko shoes (i have a high instep) and New Balance 800 series. The shoes have saved my feet!

This shoe just did not work for me. The fit was the problem, and it is my high instep that is the issue, not the shoe. It is a beautiful shoe and I wish I could wear it. I certainly would be interested in trying this style in oiled or pull up leather that are a bit more forgiving.

I bought these shoes due to a condition I have called plantar fasciitis. It can be painful if you wear the wrong shoes. These shoes were comfortable from the first day I wore them. I was told to wear them only a few hours at a time until my feet got used to them. I totally forgot about that because they fit great from the first time I put them on. I hope all the Dansko shoes fit and feel like these. They do move on my heel slightly but was told that they should.

As a hairdresser standing all day this shoe works. It's sole bends with me as I move unlike other Dansko and it also stays on my foot. I got 38's and my one widerfoot is not scrunched.

Since retired...I still love dansko...have worn them for about 8 years now...love my new Sienna style..have new doulbe knee replacements...dansko give me the perfect support but yet style i love...fabulous speedy service on line and free postage is the best!!
