In Sept of last year I fell out of a tree at the river while taking pictures and badly injured my knee, it was finally doing better when in July,I fell in wet grass while running back to the house after feeding a stray cat, at the hospital they said it would have been much better if I had broken it. I absolutely could not walk without limping, or be on my feet long UNTIL I PUT ON MY NEW KEENS! they have a wide base which gives me stability and the water doesn't bother them at all! I call them my miracle shoes... I even bought an extra pair to save for later----------I may be 63, but I plan on many more great times at the river.

I think it is great that someone has invented summer sandals that protect the toe. I also like the reinforced raised area under the bottom of the toes.
The Newport was the first style of KEEN shoes I ever purchased 5 years ago. Being a new mother, I realized I needed to be prepared for any weather and any experience--expected or unexpected. I also needed to know that any shoe I put on my feet could go the distance without hurting or nagging me. I AM SO THANKFUL I found KEEN! I have 7 pair in various styles and I'm here to buy more. They all wear like iron and energize me. I measure 8.5 but always buy a 9. The Newports are the bomb, but I also love my "flip flops" that I could walk for miles in. I'd be LOST without Keens on my very busy and grateful feet : )

I bought these shoes based on all the excellent reviews. I'm sure they're great for normal feet. I love the style and color. BUT, as soon as I walked any distance, the soles of my feet burned and throbbed. I'm not blaming the shoes; I should have thought about the product description and noticed it said nothing about shock absorption. I have thin feet, no padding on the bottom and normally need quality athletic shoes. I thought it would be great to have a shoe that was not so hot in the summer. This shoe feels heavy, like blocks of rubber. Not a good shoe for a sensitive foot.

I wore them throughout Europe and they were soooo comfortable! No complaints and I would buy again.
The shoes are very comfortable and I would tell all my friends and relatives to purchase a pair. I also own 2 pair of the keen bali and love them alot. I would recommend this site to everyone as they send the item out and within a couple of days the sandals are here.

The sandal has a wide toe box that allows your toes to move freely after walking all day. The sole is substantial and provides the bottom of your foot with a good amount of support which allows for comfortable extended use on uneven terrain. The locking mechanism is easily adjusted as needed; the laces can be cinched tightly or can be left loose; the sandals are functional in both positions.
Wearing mini crew socks with the sandals cushion your foot from any debris that get into the sandals while walking.
This is my third pair of regular Newport sandals - they are great!!!

This is my first pair of Keens. I am a loyal Merrell girl but liked the diversity of these shoes enough to give them a try. I am so glad I did. They are durable but cute at the same time. My husband says they're sexy -- he's a jock! I wore them brand new out of the package while traveling to Reno. Despite all the walking we did, they remained comfortable. If I had anything to suggest about improvement, it would be a little more arch support.

It took me about 3 good wearings to "break in" the footbed of these Keens, and now they are one of my warm weather staples. Great to wear if I didn't have time for a pedicure but wanted to wear a casual sandal. Rain just beads right off of the leather. Custom fit with the bundgie system. No hot spots or pinching of my foot because of the inner liner.

These shoes offer terrific support for bad backs. They are cooler than walking shoes and quite comfortable. My husband was very disappointed to learn that they don't come in his size!

These shoes are great, but as much as I wanted them to work, I couldn't spend this much on shoes that were not comfy for my flat feet. The inside of my foot "rolled" out far enough to be halfway inside the shoe and halfway out over the sole. The soles are hard enough to "cut" into your foot if you have really flat feet like mine. I did love the way they looked--beautiful leather and well made! I gave it 5 stars for that factor...I am a size 8 and did find that the 8.5 was the right size for me.

I Love it when people notice my Keens and say things like are they a sandal or a shoe. I always say they are better than both. I love my Keens.
A co-worker suggested this type of KEEN sandal to me some time ago and I was reluctant to try them. Then I broke my foot, had surgery, and was having a hard time finding comfortable shoes that were also, supportive. Again my co-worker suggested this KEEN sandal as she wears hers to work. The price was right, I finally listened and ordered them and I'm glad I did!

This is my third year to purchase Keen sandals, last year I realized that this was the one shoe I constantly reached for. It is so versatile, and so comfortable. The style of the shoe is so different, and that's what drew me to it! You can tell just by looking at the design (wide toe cap-room to spread out and breath) that it is going to be comfortable. Love my Keens!

Wearing thes sandals (I never would have even thought this about me) lets you feel the complete comfort and support that all men need. From walking in the woods to just sitting around, this footware gives you the feeling that you are wearing the some sort of "working" shoe or boot. With your toes enclosed and with a solid sole, this product allows for any sort of "roughness" that may be employed.

I love my keen's I don't think that they set any trendy new fashions but people always ask about them and where I got them. I have lived in my keen's for the last year and a half.....I can't walk without them..... I use them at work, I hike with them I even purchased H2O Keen's that I wear at the beach. I am a Keen believer...... can't wait to buy my next pair.

Within the space of just a few weeks during this past summer, three doctors and two tai chi friends mentioned the joys of Keen shoes to me. I had never heard of them and decided to investigate. My feet are a size ten with a wide toe width and high arches. Comfortable shoes are a necessity and I had been buying a half to full size larger than I needed in order to get the toe width. Keen shoes are a dream come true.

I have a lot of problems with foot pain, but NOT with these shows! I have not had any problems at all since I started wearing Keens. I'm a teacher and on my feet all day when I go home at the end of the day my feet still feel great.

Past reviews said this shoe ran small, so I ordered a half size bigger, which works with the rest of the Keens I have (I love Keens - I have several pairs!). This shoe actually ran more true to size, so once I got into my size the shoe felt great right away. I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of this shoe. I absolutely LOVE Keens! I hope they never go out of business!
This is my second pair of keens and I love them. They are very comfortable and practical for any outdoor activity. And if they get dirty you just throw them in the wash machine and their good as new.

A really nice sandal. Maybe my feet are weird but the toes fit a bit funny. The larger shoe was way too big and the smaller size definitely too small. I do like the shoe and I may just be getting used to a different fit.

I am not the most graceful person on the planet. I've never had much luck with sandals because I either stub my toes if the sandal is open in the front, or lose the shoe if it is open in the back. Nothing like wearing sneakers all summer. I bought a pair of Keen sandals about 5 years ago, and the only reason I had to replace them with the Newports (which I love) is because I LOST them!!! Both the MIA pair and the Newports are comfortable alternatives to the summer sandal. I love the versatility....rugged enough to hike yet cute enough to wear with capris and shorts. I get compliments on my Keens whenever I wear them, and in fact, several people have bought a pair after asking about mine. I've never met anyone who owns a pair of these fun sandals (and I know lots of folks who do) who has anything negative to say about them. Solid construction, comfortable wear, and good looking to boot (and OH! the color choices!) Form meets function and walks happily along!

Ths is a very well made, durable, comfortable shoe. I would recommend that if you are planning to wear a light-weight sock with this shoe to order 1/2 size larger.

these shoes were great. my travelling companion and i wore them on safari to kenya for 12 days including tromping through all the airports and they were very comfy. they were good for all types of terrain and with the bumper toe...protected our feet from any stubbed toes. my only complaint is that both of us encountered a foot odor issue which we do not normally have with other shoes.

These sandals are amazing. I use them for walking and hiking as well as daily wear. The shoe is extremely comfortable with adjustable straps. I love that they can get wet without being stained or shrink and that I can put them in the washer to keep them clean and smelling fresh.
