I really needed these sandals before a big hiking trip. I wanted them because I knew I would want shoes other than my hiking boots to wear. These were great, and have a great reputation. they are supportive like a shoe, but breathable like a flip flop. My two complaints: first, this style had the toe holder, but it was really uncomfortable around my toes, I think I may have to get the ones without the toe holder. Also, you can't wear socks under them (which you sometimes want to do if it is chilly at camp) because of the toe holder. LAstly, i have very narrow feet, and the tightening strap fit well, but the extra strap material is too long. I want to cut it but i am afraid it will fray and look bad. I wish I could get the strap made smaller.

I found the straps difficult to adjust and the weight of the shoe's sole would probably be fatiguing after a long hike or walk.

I travelled internationally in these shoes walking for miles a day....... great balance, great support, comfort and durability second to none. My feet did not hurt nor did my legs during the days of walking. Recommended by my daughter in law so now two believers in this brand and this style. I think they will last forever. So glad I took her advice !!!! These sandals are easily multipurpose. and thank you onlineshoes[...] :-)

My first pair lasted 9 years - and I wore them out! Ran, biked, sailed, kayaked in ocean, hiked rocky mountains many times. Kids, dogs, heat, cold, wetness every day. EVERY DAY! Adjustable for the times when the feet swell from being on them too much or to much altitude. Love these sandals.

This is absolutely the best and most comfortable sandal that I have ever worn. The price is a little high but I assure you, they are worth it.

This is the only sandal I ware. I have 3 pairs. My arches are very high. I can be on my feet and walk all day and my legs AND feet feel GREAT! I have spent alot of money on shoes in the past and these are the best ever! I am wanting to have a tennis shoe with the same arch and vibram sole as this sandal and I WILL buy it. I highly recommend this shoe!

These Chacos are the best ones that i have purchased as of yet! I love the way that they can be dressed up or down. I wear them in the office all spring and summer long with dress pants and jeans alike! they are so comfortable and offer great arch support.
I love the Chaco line but did not have the Z2. The minute I put these sandals on my feet were in love! I over pronate with arches that kill me if the shoe doesn't have a very good arch support. Chacos footbed is the best fitting I have ever worn with great stabilty for the entire foot. The straps are not that hard to adjust and are very easy to remove. I like the toe strap because it stablizes the fore foot. Can't think of one negative thing to say about these shoes. Pure comfort!

I bought my first pair of chacos six years ago, and they are still very wearable. But after lots of camping and boating trips as well as everyday to work wear, I decided to treat myself this summer with a new pair. These shoes last forever, really. I originally purchased the new style of chaco, but the smaller straps didn't really work for me. So I returned them for this more true to original style and fell back in love. Beware, Chacos do have a solid "breaking in" period, but it pays off in the years to come.

I wore these shoes all summer while pregnant, and they were awesome! I experience a lot of pain if I am on my feet too long, and I never noticed that when I wore my Chacos! We spent all summer walking around Tokyo and seeing the sights here in Japan. These are the best shoes I have ever bought, and I can't wait for summer to buy another pair!

I go to the Big Island of Hawaii to visit my parents. This shoe is perfect for the beach and for hiking since most of the terrain is rock.

I saw a friend wearing Chaco's and I liked the looks of them. I have had an ankle fusion, so I have to be careful with the shoes that I can wear comfortably since I don't have total mobility of my ankle, and these are so comfortable. I put them on right away when they arrived and I love them!

Perfect for kayaking, canoeing, etc. The straps allow you to custom-fit the shoe, and they won't move around on your feet no matter how strong the current is. Comfortable and quick-drying.
