I love Danskos, owning at least a dozen pairs as I'm on my feet all day, but these are off. They feel a full size too small. Somehow, the heel is a bit too high for what it's made of- plastic/rubber. It feels hollow and unstable. I have other heeled Danskos, but these just don't fit right nor are they made right. I can't return them, so I'm going to resell them brand new. My only Dansko disappointment.:(

Beautiful high style shoe; it's a shame I can't wear them. I own several pairs of Dansko shoes including the Dansko Ballerina, Bronte, a loafer, and three pairs of Babettes. I am on my feet constantly, managing a warehouse. I need something comfortable and professional, and I love Danskos because they are so comfortable, breathe so well, and last forever. I thought I'd update my wardrobe with the Dansko Tara. I tried them in two sizes. The footbed was noticeably different. The arch support is not supportive; I think it's the placement. The sole itself seems to be made more of plastic, almost as if the heel itself is hollow, and not the wear- them- forever- usual that I've become accostomed to. The tread part is thin. The strap is delicate and attached by a strip of elastic. The strap will not wear well, and is for looks only, not to be used to adjust the width of the shoe. The Tara is a beauty, but try them on.. the heel pushes you too far forward so that it is somewhat unstable and all the pressure is towards the ball of your foot, leaving your toes squashed. Unless you plan to not walk in them, save your money for a different pair. This may be Danskos one mistake. A pity. Looks so pretty. One other note, which may not be a coincidence: My other Danskos are made in Portugal, these are stamped, "Made in China."

I was excited to see Dansko is finally selling half sizes, as I am a 38.5 in their shoes and usually get a 38 in sandals and open-toed Danskos, a 39 in closed-toe (which are huge on me). This is a very stylish shoe for work or for going out. The fit is tricky. Size 39, unwearably big, 38 very tight. The 38.5 is plenty big in length and width and even slips in back, but angle pushes my foot forward in a funny way and smashes my toes. Not good for long hours standing or walking, which surprised me, b/c I wear lots of other shoes with heels with no problem. Expected more comfort of Dansko. But I admit, I'll suffer for fashion, and I love the design! It may be about the shape of my feet (maybe my toes are longer than average?) so I recommend them, with the suggestion that you give them a good test drive at home and make sure they do not smash your toes.

Loved the way these looked. I wish they were not so wide. I have lots of Danskos and found these way wider than the rest.

Beatiful shoe, went fabulously with my suit for grad school interviews. Was excited to find a dansko dress shoe as the clogs are my work shoes and I am not accustomed to wearing high heels. Loved the stable, rubbery heel that does not click or slip when walking. But wore them for less than 30 minutes before getting blisters on both heels, due to high, stiff and tight backs. Very painful! Am exchanging for larger size to see if these will be an improvement. Still holding out hope...

I tried (3) three different sizes in this shoe. I really wanted them but could not get the proper fit. I only wear Dansko and was excited to see 1/2 sizes in this shoe. I usually wear a 37, it was too big. 36.5 was also too big. 36 was just a tiny bit too small. I was sad to have to return them. Maybe the fit will work out better for you.

I wear a 41 in Dansko regularly, this shoe was too large for me in 41. I needed a 40.

This shoe was truly beautiful and wonderfully constructed. I love Dansko clogs, so I was eagerly hoping I could wear stylish shoes made by this same company. I do have very wide feet, and I'm sorry to report that I had to return these. The fit was super snug, and I could tell a hot spot would form right under my footbed. For some reason, I have yet to find the comfort in Dansko shoes that I have found in their classic clogs.
