Love Dansko shoes. They are comfy when you are on your feet alot. However, I find that if I am "walking" alot, they eventually start to hurt my baby toe a bit so for major walking I would change into sneakers. My sis is a doctor and wears them at the hospital because of the support while standing during surgery. I know a couple people with high insteps that can't wear these professional clogs because the top of the shoes comes up too high. My flat feet work great it them.

I have two other pairs in this style and I work on concrete. They help support my legs and feet so I am not sore. I would recommend these to anyone. They are all going on three years of almost eveyday wear.

I am a nurse and I have worn the clogs for work for many years and have been had very happy feet for those 12-14 hour days! I have had a pair of black Dankso shoes for casual wear and have been very happy with them. The patent leather is so cute I had to have them! The patent black leather dresses up jeans and you can wear them with business casual attire. The comfort is consistant with all the other Dansko products I have had! I am a Dansko girl for sure!

I love Dansko clogs!!!! I'm a nurse and have had a 'scrub blue' pair of Dansko clogs for 10+ years and they still look like new. I have them in brown suede (multi colored stitched top), leopard print and black patent. I always get compliments on the brown and black patent, whether wearing them out for fun with jeans or dressing them up with a pair of slacks. Very versatile!!!!! They are stiff to start, but take little time to break in!!

My podiatrist recommended this shoe for my plantar facitus about a year ago and I got the black oiled leather. I was hooked to them because my feet started to feel better without cortisone. However, they were not dressy for winter so I got the patent leather and have received so many compliments on them. They fit more snugly than the same size in leather, but still feel great. I have never been addidicted to a shoe before!

I love my new Patent Leather Dansko shoes! They fit beautifully and allow me to get through an entire day of work without foot/leg pain. I no longer kick off my shoes the minute I get home from work. These shoes are very versatile; I can wear them to work in a professional atmosphere, or dress them down a bit with a pair of nice denims. They appear to wear very well; I had to walk through a bit of snow and ice with them on, and worried how this would affect the leather and shine. I was pleasantly surprised to find no marks, scratches or dullness of finish. The only problem with these shoes is that now I am hooked and want to wear no other brand of shoes!

I am A Rural Mail Carrier and I spend a lot of hours a day on my feet. My job includes hours of standing and walking. These shoes are great for both. At the end of the day my feet and legs are never uncomfortable. Love my Dansko Professionals!

I have a wide foot so I usually order a size bigger. The 40 in this shoe was too big but I have a 40 in the cordivan that is a bit tight. Keep trying until you get the right fit since these are each made by hand.

I teach elementary school and am on my feet a good portion of the day and have to walk up and down stairs and around our big building a lot. I was not a fan of clogs, but after a full day of work my legs are not throbbing at all. I would recommend trying on different sizes because assorted styles can fit differently. Even though they are higher priced than I usually spend, buy at least 1 pair-you won't regret it.

These shoes are great!! They have an awesome design in terms of appearance and function. The leopard print- especially in red- is rather unique. I work in a store and have to stand on a hard floor all day. These shoes are great for my feet, legs, knees, and back!!! I wear them, or other Dansko shoes nearly every day. I wear a size 9, and the Dansko 39 fits me perfectly!!! Everyone should have a pair of these shoes!!

Love these shoes...get lots of compliments on the color. I live in Colorado where we get quite a bit of snow, these shoes are great because of the grooved bottoms. They are so comfortable you can wear them all day long, take that from someone who has had foot pain for a very long time!

I've always wanted a pair of Dansko's for years, but could never justify the price. When I developed a problem with my feet, I decided to bite the bullett & purchase a pair (Brown Pullups). I wore them for a week & loved them so much that I went online & purchased the exact pair in black. In addition to helping with my feet, they also have a big impact on my knees. I can walk longer with no paid!! Well worth the cost.

I did not even plan to buy them: I was passing the shoes in the department store, asked for the Patent Black Leather just to try. I did not want to take them off! Today I am wearing them the first day, no socks, great comfort. I do agree that you have to get used to this clog: I bought my first pair 3 years ago (brown oiled), it took some time to get used to it's feel, but for the last 3 winters I wore nothing but Dansko's most of the time.

After starting work at a hospital almost 8 months ago, and having to be on my feet for my whole shift, I was in desperate need to find a comfortable shoe. My co-workers recommended Dansko, and as soon as I was able to afford them, I bought a pair!

I own the black patent leather in the professional style, and absolutely love the look. I got a size "39", but as soon as I tried to put the on, I had to practically shove my foot in. They fit, albeit a bit snugly, but the first week they were really hard on the top of my feet, as I have high arches. I just wanted to sell them back to the retailer!

It's taken almost 3 weeks to get to a point where I can wear them comfortably, but they still have some breaking in to do. They feel a bit heavy, but I like the way they help me with my posture and have re-trained my feet to walk properly.

So warning: If you've never worn Danskos and you have high arches, I recommend buying a size up or taking time to break them in around the house and while doing chores and errands before wearing them for a full work shift!

I take a size 7.5 shoe normally. But I would take an 8 in the Dansko...if it worked for me. Style of shoe looks great but not comfortable for my foot problem. My right foot pronates from an injury and I have a very thin instep. The Dansko hit on top on instep and side of pronated ankle bone area so is not comfortable. After reading so many positive reviews I really thought this would be the shoe for me as I am on my feet for 6 hours straight and need a sturdy shoe. Unfortunately it just didn't work out.

I live in Dansko clogs. I wanted to try a new color so I ordered Indigo. It was so dark I couldn't tell it from my Black ones. They were exchanged for Blueberry which was much better.

All I wear are Dansko's and have three different colored professional style. When I found the blueberry color I immediately ordered them. Unfortunatly, they are so close to black you can not tell the difference. Dansko's never wear out, but you never can have enough comfortable work shoes. Great for dress down Friday's.

I've never worn a European sized shoe before, so I went to a local shoe store and tried on both the 39 and 40 in the Dansko Professional. Normally I wear either a 9 or 9.5 so I wasn't sure about the sizing. At the store the 39 was way too tight, and the 40 was snug, but had the potential to stretch after some wearing. The store didn't have the patent, so I tried on a plain leather...I ordered the Claret Patent though. Could the sizing be different for the different kinds of leather??? Wish I had ordered both the 39 and the 40 so I could compare them! I am unsure about whether to exchange or return these...

I am on my feet at work 8 hours aday. These are the only shoes that I have found that can support my fallen arches and ankles. I have received many compliments on the look...shiny red shoes. I wear these shoes at work only. I am a labor and delivery nurse, so it gets pretty messy in my rooms. I don't wear shoe covers because I feel like I am sliding, so I needed a pair of shoes that would wipe clean. I only wear them in the hospital, so I can use them in the OR during c-sections. You can imagine what gets on them and it all just wipes away. I always get compliments on how cute they are as well. I have had them over a year and I work really hard and they still look great.

This particular style runs a little smaller than another Dansko (Confetti/Felt) style I own. I wear a 39 and when I ordered the 39 in the professional oiled style, I wish I had ordered a size 40.
Hopefully they will stretch some across the upper section. Love the color and very durable.

I have worked in the medical field for 12 years. I started wearing Dansko about 4 years ago. These shoes are the best shoes I have ever worn. There are so much better than tennis shoes. My feet never get tired in them and I wear then from 7:30 in the morning until 8:00 in the evening. I also wear them every weekend with my jeans. They look great with jeans and even khakis. I have one pair than is three years old and still feels great. they are so durable.
I definitly would recommend these shoes.

I pretty much live in Dansko clogs because I have plantar fasciitis. I don't have heel pain with these shoes. I was also so happy to find a size 43 (the shoes run smaller than advertised--43 is not a size 12-13...I wear an 11 otherwise).
