Great well made shoe. Very Comfortable. They have an expensive leather look. THey dont sqeak. FIt my feet well with an insert in them.

WE USE THESE SHOES FOR AROUND THE FARM (HORSE). THEY ARE COMFORTABLE, DURABLE, AND FOR SHOES WORN EVERYDAY THE LAST A LONG TIME (well that is if the newly rescued pit bull does not get a hold of these very "tasty" shoes). LOST ONE PAIR NOT LONG AGO BECASUE THEY TASTED TOO GOOD.

I've owned the professional clogs for about 4 years. I work in retail and they really saved my feet. I wanted to replace them so I tried the Calla. Very comfortable but the right shoe was about a half size bigger then the left. I know that dansko's are hand made, so it was no big deal. I decided to exchange them, I purchased the Myla's instead. I think they are more stylish than the Calla.

I only wear Dansko. This is my third pair. I researched these shoes for approximately three months before purchasing my first pair which were clogs. After my first pair of Dansko, a friend's daughter, a nurse, gave me a brown pair of Calla's as she was not allowed to wear brown with her uniform. I fell in love with this style as much as the clogs and had to have this style in black. The health of my feet has improved tremendously. I am a diabetic and feel relieved to have such quality shoes that are stylish.

I love the arch support of Dansko clogs, but need a closed back shoe for driving and walking in winter weather. These are great for comfort, support, and style, in 2 weeks I have received a number of compliments on them. They have good traction on the sole. They are very versatile, can either dress up or down. The only "con" I can think of is they were a bit stiff for the first couple of days. I am planning to get another pair in a different color.

I love the support and the cushion they provide. After a 12 hours shift my feet do not hurt. Great for nurses and traction is great even on wet floors!

I am a nurse, on my feet constantly for 12 hours. I have to be very picky about my shoes, because I make my living on my feet. I was also hesitant about buying shoes without trying them on, but I love Dansko shoes and have worn them for 5 years. I liked the style of these, but could not find them at any of our Nashville shoe stores. I took the plunge and bought these in my regurlar shoe size and width. I wore them to work the first day, being sure to take a pair of my other shoes. Not to worry. They were comfortable from day one. They are stylish....I have gotten so many compliments on them, but more importantly they are of excellent quality, & comfortable with a capital 'C'. I can post absolutely no negative comments about these shoes. What's not to like??

My daughter had a pair of Danskos when we went on vacation in Dec and I tried hers on and liked the way they felt on my feet. She has had her's for two years already. I have heel spurs and with these shoes I don't have to have extra cushions inside my shoes. When I'm walking I don't have the pain I would with my other work shoes. In fact I got another pair of Calla's so I can switch days with them to let them rest.

My shoe wardrobe consists almost entirely of Dansko shoes. Once I started wearing them I couldn't bring myself to buy other brands. I especially love the fit of the Calla. Although a little tough to slip on, once they are on my feet they are roomy, supportive and comfortable. The problem, and it's a big one, is that from the first time I wore them, the color (blue) has rubbed off. Although I've only had them since December, they look very worn out and like they should be replaced. I did see a similar problem mentioned with another style of blue shoes so I guess it's a manufacturing defect. They are so comfortable and look so good with jeans [...]

I purchased this shoe because I needed to insert a custom orthotic. This Dansko works great for that. It is a stiff shoe like a clog but comfortable.

I needed a shoe that would be good on snow and ice when the sidewalks aren't totally clear. I live in various Danskos throughout the year, but the soles were pretty slick in the winter. These are great! The soles are more flexible than regular Danskos, and the fit is slightly narrower (although I think Danskos run a little wide, so I think these are true to width). The flexible sole along with the texture on the bottom means I don't slip! These are built like clogs even though they come up in the back, so expect your heel to slide up and down a little as you walk. That is normal for these kind of Danskos.

I totally disagree with a previous reviewer that they need to be broken in. These are comfy from the get-go. These are my new favorite shoes.

I normally wear a 42 in Dansko closed back shoes but the Calla was much too big. I exchanged it for a 41 and it fits much better but is still a tad too big. I have to wear them with thicker socks

I have been looking forever for the perfect shoe. One that I can wear to school with the kids, have lunch with a friend then run home to feed donkeys, muck stalls and fit in a walk with the dogs. My dream came true when I took the plunge and ordered my Dansko Callas. The dansko Callas are the most unbelievably comfortable and diverse shoes I have ever owned. They are with me from dawn until dusk and work perfect for all of my daily tasks.

These are without a doubt the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I work in a school cafeteria and am on my feet for 6 hours straight on a concrete floor. These shoes are awesome!!
