Comments about Naot Shadow:

so a few decades ago, I was into punky-counterculture and I was looking for a pair of boots that recalled that look. Nothing over the top but just a little more edge-y. And since I have high arches and do a lot of running, comfort for my feet is always important, no matter what I'm wearing.

I looked and looked: Frye, Harley Davidson, Born, Docs- everywhere. I couldn't find the shaft height I wanted- everything was too high, hitting right under the knee, which makes my pants catch and bunch at the calve or too low, i.e. ankle boots, which I despised in the 80's. These shoes are perfect! They hit at the perfect spot, don't make my legs look fat, & they can be worn with pants and skirts.
Obviously they are a little price-y but they feel wonderful (supportive yet soft). My arches and back are happy and my feet look cool.
