I can't believe how comfortable this shoe is!!! I've had problems with my feet for a long time and need to wear special orthodics in my shoes due to over-pronation; they fit in these fine. Recently we went to Hawaii, where I did a lot of hiking (2 miles up a rugged trail over rocks and tree roots and across a stream); my feet never hurt! Even when I've had my shoes on for hours, I honestly forget I have shoes on! They are so much lighter than my previous shoes, which I've bought for the last 3 years. Even my teenager commented how "cute" my sneakers were! (i used to wear just white) I got the darker of the two colors--just wish they made them in more colors; i'd buy a second pair.

I bought these on all the positive comments on-line; never tried them on in a store. Am so glad I took the chance to order them.

I've always loved my Ryka walking shoes, but my white ones get so dirty while walking my dog on trails. Thought I'd try these...Just great! Same great shoe, but made for walking those muddy trails with my dog.

I ordered this shoe for it's looks, I wanted a walking shoe that wasn't bright white to wear while travelling in Europe. It would have been perfect but it just didn't have enough arch support for me and my flexible flat feet. I hated to send it back but I knew I would end up hurting if I wore it walking all day.

I am perhaps overly hard on my body and just had to have surgery on my good knee-these are the best shoes--and believe me I know from the first surgery years ago. Unlike your grandparents shoes these are cute and really can get you moving NOW. I am using them for gym, yard work and just general all around getting there. They will be invaluable in Manhattan on my trip-great shoes.

I was looking for a shoe with support and really comfortable for daily use as I had some arthritis removed from both big toe joints and they still hurt somewhat when I walk. I was in an athletic shoe store trying on all kinds and the young man handed me the Country Walker and I put them on and was shocked! These have got to be by far the best shoes I have ever had on my feet. I bought 2 pair, white and the mohave. I am a lady truck driver and the mohave color is great for work and my feet feel so good I almost want to dance my way through the day. I am going to buy several more pair to have a spares. I hope they never stop making these. All I can say is "WOW, what a shoe."

I ordered these Ryka in a wide width for general walking on various surfaces and they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn.
Normally I have problems with my "fussy feet" due to my having Multiple Sclerosis, but with these Ryka The Country Walkers- they are perfect in every way. In addition to being PERFECT, they even help with my poor balance! Huge PLUS! I even showed my friend how GREAT my gait was as I walked effortlessly across a 50 yard radius. For someone who usually drags one foot-- I did so wonderful in these that I placed another order just today for the "Ryka GCB Walk" in wide width. Thanks to On-line Shoes for allowing me to continue trying until I found the ultimate shoes!!!

I bought a pair of the Ryka Country Walkers because of all the good reviews and I'm glad I did! They are so comfortable. I'm on my feet all day at the hospital and I was looking for something that was supportive and felt good. Also they are wide in the toe box and narrow in the heel which is a good shoe for me because I have a bunion on the left foot and the medium width feels wonderful. They are very light weight and make my feet look smaller! I wear a 9. I ordered a pair for my daughter too because she's on her feet at the hospital also and she loves them. I recommend them highly.

I love the light weight of the Country Walker. Actually, my feet really like the shoe!! It is the first time I have found a walking shoe that fits my foot and doesn't hurt anywhere. I am training for a hiking vacation in Ireland, and I can hardly wait to wear these out so I can get another pair.

I bought these to wear to work and they are great! I stand on my feet a lot and walk a lot at the hospital and the support in these is wonderful. I have never bought Ryka before but when I read the reviews they helped me decide. Love the color too! Going to order some for my daughter.

I was looking forward to getting this shoe, as I felt it might be refreshing to not wear white sneakers all the time. I found the shoe in Mojave tan was a little darker in color than the online photograph. While attractive, I found the heel too narrow. It seemed like the insole heel was a good size, but the sides of the shoe narrowed from the insole up to the foot opening. The heel slipped when I walked and made a funny noise. Couldn't determine the source of the noise other than maybe displacement of the air as my heel slipped in and out of the heel pocket. If I stood still, the shoe was comfortable, but I was looking for a walking shoe, so this was not a good choice. Reasonable arch support, but not as high as I would expect in an athletic shoe. This is the first time I have tried Ryka, and was wanting this shoe to be good. I was disappointed, and returned the shoe. I ended up with a Rockport shoe called Faisel, which I love.

I walk on pavements around town and the shoes are great. I only buy Ryka sneakers. My feet got bad wearing other sneakers and they were too small, I found out later, when my feet got a nerve problem in the metatarcals. As you get older your feet get bigger!!A friend told me a podiatrist said to but Ryka sneakers. They are only made for women.

I purchased this second pair of Ryka's to alternate with my white pair. The Ryka is advertised as having a wide foot bed and a narrow heel. I've been looking for these my entire life...finally found! I'm still looking for an adult comfort walker with red flashing lights in the heel. Why should little kids have all the fun?

I have been wearing Ryka's for a few years now and will not buy any other brand of tennis shoe. I am hard on my tennis shoes and the white ones get dirty too quickly. I thought I would try this new shoe and the color was appealing. I just love it and will probably order a second pair just to have them for the future.

Ryka's fit great and are always comfortable from day one.

I sell a proffessional product, Invisible Fence, and want to make a professional appearance in my dress. Ryka Country Walker fits the bill. I can tramp through the most treacherous terrain safely and comfortable, with enough support to make my long days fly by.
The shoes compliment my uniform, and look enough like a hiking boot to be acceptable to the fussiest customer.
I recommend Ryka to all my friends and clients as a shoe that can withstand the most trying environments, wet or dry.
