I walk everywhere and my feet need lots of cushioning and arch support. I had a pair of the the 643's that I really enjoyed. These 644's are supposed to be the new version of those shoes but they don't have the cushioning that the old ones did. I have to size up in New Balance. I wear 8 Medium in other brands but needed to order 8 1/2 Wide in these. I am returning these because my feet were in pain after wearing for an extended period of time. New Balance used to make great shoes. But this is the third pair I have returned because of size or comfort problems. I am disappointed with New Balance.

I have plantar problems and this is the best shoe I have ever worn. I wear them all day around the house, walking, and in the gym. Wonderful color. It goes well with crop pants and shorts any color. My foot pain is gone!!!

Ok, so I'm a overweight, full-time stay-at-home-mother, and full-time college student. I garden, walk around the woods, and school in these shoes. I usually go through a pair of the Nike(r), Avia(r), or less expensive New Balance cross trainers every three months. I've had one pair of these for a year -- worn them daily, and have been just as tough on them as any shoe I've had, yet these are still going strong. The only con with these, is that they stain easily. Good support and excellent durability. Going out today to buy a new pair -- because I'm gonna mess up the pair I'm wearing in the garden today, and still want a presentable pair!

I tried and returned 4 other brands of shoes. They all felt good at first. Then, I went walking and my feet hurt so bad I could hardly return home. I was beginning to wonder if there was something wrong with my feet. Then I found these. They are fantastic! I bought them for walking, but now I wear them all the time because they are so comfortable. I LOVE these shoes!

i was so dissapointed as i loved this shoe but the seam on the right side of my right foot was digging in. The left was comfortable and had a lot of cushion to it. The price was great [...]. So maybe the seam would be fine for most.

I use these for walking and shopping. They were comfortable the first time I put them on. If you plan on wearing socks, order a half or whole size larger than your normal size.

I bought this shoe for it's support and padding. I am on ceramic tile all day and they reduces the shock to my back These shoes look nice with jeans and capris and are very comfortable. They are a break from the "white" tennis shoe.
