I pretty much rate shoes on how many hours I can wear them. I wore these shoes for 6 hours on a concrete floor the first time and they were comfy the whole time. I have hard to fit feet and wear orthotics and these were just great. Only once was there a "hot spot" on the bottom of my foot. But, I just changed position for a couple of minutes and it went away.

I'ma teacher and so comfortable, professional heels are always on my wishlist list. These fit the bill. they have good arch support for my high arches and I feel fairly stable on the heel, despite it being placed a little too far under, as opposed to further back.

They are slightly "chunky"- not in a bad way- they aren't super delicate strappy little numbers but they aren't made to be. They just have that slightly "I'm wearing comfy shoes" look that Dansko's and the like have.
