the sides bowl out around the arch area so you can actually see the inside of the shoe not very pretty

If you like T-straps that are not sandals, these shoes are GREAT. I've learned to order them half a size smaller than I originally did, because the shoe will stretch out with your first wearing. But they are comfortable, cute and highly recommended for people with any kind of foot problems. Plus they can be worn year around, on any occasion except maybe one requiring evening wear. I don't recommend wearing them in the rain, however, because the nubuck shows spots that don't come out easily unless you have special suede care products. As for the claims of them being "stiff", most shoes are at first, unless they're soft-soled moccasins. These soften up with wear, and with the lovely cloth lining, I'm even able to wear them without stockings or socks, if necessary. I'm getting them in every color I can get my hands on, but I could wish they came in more colors (red, for instance, or royal blue).

I bought this shoe in light brown and brandy because they're so cute and comfortable and a good value like most Propet shoes.
