I bought these for fencing--well, it does say they are fencing shoes. I first ordered a half size too large because it's what I wear for running shoes. [...] When I used them they seemed too narrow but after I placed good supportive insoles in them (Birkenstock), they worked out much better. And the sole doesn't peel off like other shoes do when you use them for fencing.
