I pretty much only wear black shoes, so I was disappointed to take these out of the box and see that they (the "black" color) are navy blue, not black. A previous reviewer did say they were "more navy than black," and I should have listened -- they really are just navy blue, period. There is a small bit of black accenting which only serves to accentuate that the main color of the shoe is navy blue.
I tried it on anyway, thinking if it was the most comfortable shoe I'd ever worn, I'd keep them anyway. It wasn't great, for me. Ideally I wear a 8.5 W, but usually a 9 M will suffice when a wide width isn't available. Not for these; they were a bit too snug for me, width-wise. Can't blame Keen, it's not supposed to be a wide shoe, so I was taking my chances.
In terms of looks, I think they look a little cuter on the website than in person -- not that the photos are not representative or accurate; they are -- but up close, I just didn't find them so cute.
Overall, it seems like a decent shoe that would probably be comfortable if it fits you well. Just be aware that the black is really navy blue.

I wear Keen, Merrill, and Teva sandals all the time, unless it is very cold outside. The Ventura II Slip-On will be the new "SHOES" I wear on those days. Really comfortable. I don't wear socks and these are perfect. Holds it shape without being too stiff. Great support. Shoe color goes with jeans, khakis, shorts. I can even jog along with my dogs! No rubbing.

I am 5 months pregnant and had read that these tend to fit a 1/2 size small so I got a 1/2 size bigger than what I wore before being pregnant. However, these still felt a little tight, but it could be because of the pregnancy so I decided not to send them back for an even bigger size. I've worn them more and they're starting to break in and feel more comfortable, but only without socks, I couldn't wear them at this point with socks, they'd be way too tight. I kind of feel like the opening, since they're slip ons, is a little tight. Hopefully they'll loosen up as they break in more.

I am a college student, and I love these shoes for wearing around campus or running errands. They are warm, comfortable, and I love the slip-on style. For casual wear such as this they are perfect in terms of comfort and style.

I love Keen shoes in general and loved the retro look of these shoes. Unfortunately, these shoes do not have the excellent arch support that I have found in other Keen styles. The shoes also feel a bit short for the size, but not too short. I expected the cork insole to provide support, but it didn't, so I replaced it with Birkenstock insoles that I happen to have. I love the style and with the right insoles, these shoes are fun to wear. I would recommend these shoes with the caveat that if you need arch support, then you will need to replace the insoles.

Love these shoes. I am on my feet all day and it feels so comfortable and yet looks so stylish. Easy to slip on and off.

These were too big although purchased in the size Keen I always wear. Because of that, I couldn't get an accurate "read" as they were clunky due to the fact that they were the wrong size for my foot. I returned them.

Comfort of athletic shoes, convenience of slip ons, cool as sandals...great shoe for at least 3 seasons! They wear well, too. they also run a bit wide, (which is what I like about them) without being sloppy. Typical Keen fit and comfort!

I love Keens. I saw this shoe and thought it looked so cool, I had to have it. I bought it in another color and liked it so much that I had to have this color too. It felt comfortable from the start and I love the fun and funky look. It reminds me of a pair of shoes I had when I was a kid but, much more substantial and more comfortable. Once a few friends saw them and tried them on they had to have them too. My husband even wants the men's version..........and that never happens!

I LIVE IN A YEARROUND WARM CLIMATE. THESE SHOES ARE PERFECT FOR FALL AND WINTER EVEN IF IT ISN'T COOL. BOUGHT A HALF SIZE LARGER FOR SOCKS. SO FAR SO GOOD.

Great everyday casual shoe. Fit is "true to size" for Keen --- I usually wear an 8 1/2 but in Keen's alway order a 9 and this fits perfect.

My wife lives in Keens, and this is merely the latest addition to the Keen family over here. Casual and sporty, but most of all comfortable, as are all the Keens that she wears, this fits the perfect niche for her -- the ease and quickness of a slip-on. Nothing to tie, nothing to cinch, she keeps these by the bedside. These are the automatics she puts on for casual wear. Durable and tough with the canvas tops and rubber soles, they are well-made. Actually, she has them in two colors.

These shoes are fabulous. Comfortable from the moment I put them on... they were noticed (favorably)... and took me everywhere I needed to go with style. The only thing that was a bit surprising is that they appear more Navy than black. I loved them anyway.

Could just be me but the right shoe is a little tighter than the left. I have had this same issue with other Keen's but not with other brands.

Really love this stylish little sneaker. Have received a lot of compliments already. The only draw back is they are a little stiff when putting on at first. They seem to be breaking in a little. Other than that I love them. They look great with jeans. They are comfortable and stylish for everyday use. I also plan to use them when I go sailing. The soles are skid proof and have great traction.

I have a pair of Keen shoes for winter and wanted something for warmer weather. These are perfect! In Keen shoes I wear a half size larger so I ordered 6.5, put them on and have hardly had them off my feet. I wear them without socks, all day long, and know if they wear out, I'll get another pair.

I love these shoes. Have received a lot of questions... like, "Where did you get those??? I want a pair." Very hip, especially with jeans and some skirts. Only issue is that I have a high instep and it was difficult to get them on at first. Otherwise perfect!

These shoes are really comfortable, I have a high arch which makes it a little hard to get on, but after that they feel great. I can wear them all day.
