This is the most comfortable shoe I own. I have received tons of compliments on it too. My foot runs a bit narrow so the flexability of the adjustable straps is great.

great for running around town
I have the J-41 Aquarius in Black and absolutely love it. My Mom tried my black pair and loved them too, so I ordered her the identical size in the tan/sky blue. The tan/ sky blue look great, but they fit horribly. The left shoe fit fine, but the sewing across the top of the right toe was so very tight neither of us could stand up in the shoe. Two friends who wear the same size also confirmed there was a problem with the right shoe. We exchanged it for another pair and experienced the same problem again. Keep in mind, it's not our feet; both of us can wear the identical size in another color. These two pairs were seriously defective; the right shoe had been mis-sewn across the top of the toes. The next size up is too big. We give up.

These J-41s are great! I had to order a half size larger for comfort, but well worth it! Other J-41s have fit me true to size, regardless, I love the J-41 style and overall look and feel. Best shoes I've ever owned! They look great for casual dress and basic everyday!

These shoes are really cute, and I have received many compliments on them. However, I don't wear them very often because they are not comfortable. The straps have absolutely no elasticity and tend to dig into my foot. Also the straps on one shoe are shorter than on the other so on the shoe with shorter straps the strap barely reaches the velcro and is constantly coming unfastened. Although the shoes have nice insoles inside, they are basically boxes with a cushiony insole. If you are used to wearing Keens or Merrells or other true walking shoes these are disappointing in comparison. I knew this was an uncomfortable shoe as soon as I took it out of the box but resisted returning it because it was so cute. I thought I could break them in, but after 9 months they are still uncomfortable, and I wish I had returned them.

Great shoes for casual wear. Very comfortable and a good change from the flip flops I usually wear this time of year.

This shoes look great. I am exchanging them for a half size bigger though. I did try wearing them 2 times thinking that they just needed to be broken in but finally opted to go a half size up. I like the shoes other wise and can't wait to get the new ones, since the overall experience was good!

This shoe was a bit uncomfortable at first and definately runs small! It softens up as you wear it and is really cute with lots of casual outfits. It works best without socks (fit and comfort wise). If you want to wear socks with it, you will probably need a size bigger
Loved them! Wear with socks around the house for a day or two... they stretch out a bit. If you are in between sizes, go with the larger one.
The shoes are very cute & stylish, which is why I purchased them to begin with. I did not like the feel in the heel. It felt too stiff, and I was afraid that I would not be able to break them in without blisters, so I'm returning them. There have been a lot of good reviews on these shoes, but be prepared for some break-in time.

I did have to order these shoes in a half size larger than normal. That said, these shoes are kind of cute and stylish. I like to wear them when I plan to do a lot of walking and want a more sporty look. I love how they let my feet breathe. I do wish this style came in more fun colors though (e.g., black with purple straps, which don't come in the vegan style that I seek, or purple or black with dark pink straps, or red with black straps).

I am on my feet all day and I need something that is safe and comfortable to wear all day. Instead of boring neutral colored running shoes I wear my stylish J-41's. I like the green criss-cross velcro tipped straps. Knowing that all the materials are recycled-I am making a contribution to conservation in a small way. The rubber type material on the sole is non-slipping so I don't worry about slipping or sliding on a slippery surface when I have to be somewhere fast. Like all shoes they are a bit tight in the width and thin socks are best until they get broken in and they are each day I wear them. I have another pair of J-41's that look great with levi's. Great for walk-walk-walk while I shop-shop-shop. Great stylish alternative to running shoes-which all look pretty much the same.

These shoes can be worn for walking across town or hiking in the woods, or wearing all day at my desk at work. They are comfortable for all uses, have tread that makes them safe for various surfaces and are sturdy for sure-footing in any setting.

I really love these shoes! I'm on my feet all day, and have had a tough time finding shoes that fit, look good, and don't kill my feet. I've finally found them, and I will definitely be buying them in more colors. Highly recommended!

This shoe is perfect for everyday wearing. It is so comfortable and cute...I've gotten more compliments on this shoe than any other I own...It fits true to size and can be adjusted with the criss-cross straps that stay put with the velcro. I love this brand and the vegan options...
