This is a beautiful, tailored shoe that looks good with jeans and with nice trousers. My inital concern that it slipped in the heel has been overcome with several wearings --- guess it just took awhile to get used to the feel of the shoe. I plan on wearing this shoe on an upcoming trip that will involve alot of walking tours. It will serve a dual purpose since I also need a shoe that I can wear with nice slacks and tops.

The one thing I do not like about this shoe is the "sticky" insole, I prefer suede. They are snug but not too tight. I have the color Espresso which I love. The shoes are comfortable but will probably go to the back of the closet. I prefer Primos and Encores and also Clarks shoes. I have over 100 pairs of shoes and like to match my purses, shoes, clothes and watches. Love the Espresso color but dislike the sticky insole. I am a 63-year-old boomer babe.

Love, love, love these shoes! You know how sometimes you have to sacrifice style for comfort? Not with these shoes! I'm on my feet a lot for work and my feet are always comfortable and never hurt at the end of the day like with many other shoes. They're durable, long-lasting and mine still look practically new even after a years worth of wear nearly every day. I love them so much that I'm currently on my third pair! Merrell is the first brand I go to when looking for shoes. Great product!

I now own two pairs of this shoe, brown and black. I have loved Merrells for a long time, but never felt like, in the past, I could wear them to work. These shoes are nice enough to wear to work with slacks or casual skirts, but are also just fine with jeans. These shoes were comfortable from the beginning...they did not need any break in time. I have issues with my knees and when I wear these shoes my knees don't hurt. The lining of these shoes also helps them stay on your feet. They really do not slide. I love them and would highly recommend them to anyone that likes mule type shoes.
