I am in my mid-sixties, retired, and walk as much as possible. I've worm practically every walking shoe ever made -- price obviously not an issue -- these, by far, are the best. Even when I'm home on a snowy day, I put on my Mephistoes "Rush" for both comfort and support while lounging around the house. These shoes are worth every penny they cost. So far, I've own 5 pairs. I'm on this web site now because I'm planning on getting my 6th pair -- the exact same shoe. I really love the feel, the look, and how my back feels since wearing these shoes. Be good to yourself, invest in these shoes! Oh, when my Father was going for therapy after having had a stroke, his therapist had on these Rush Mephisoes -- exact same as mine. She was an excellent therapist and obviously knew a good shoe!! Anyone who wears these shoes will not regret it one bit.

The best shoes you will ever own. They wear forever. If you step in a puddle, walk in the rain or snow it is fine. Balance is perfect. The support goes on and on. The sole does not wear out. A little polish on the leather from time to time and they look new.

The only part I have replaced in 10 years of 2 to 3 times weekly wear are the laces.

I have reccomended them to everyone I know.

My orthotics fit perfect in this shoe.

I wear this brand all day except when I want to wear a more stylish shoe. I have three pairs. Black Brown and White.

Not a good shoe if you have to be on your feet all day,unless you get a bigger size. They are good for casual wear. I may buy another pair in a different style. But I will have to return these.

The first time I tried on these shoes I would swear that I heard music! The salesman was bringing them out to other shoppers one-by-one and each person who put them on bought them. They are my favorite shoe. I wear them out, send them to the company for reconditioning and wear them out again. They are my favorite shoe, bar none.
