The second time I wore the shoes the eyelets on the top of the left shoe became unattached. I found them to scuff easily. I am a teacher in a high school/ preschool setting so my shoes take a beating. These are my fifth pair of Dansko shoes and and I have been disappointed in the quality of this particular pair. I have had others that I am wearing for the third year and that have maintained their apperance. This leather is soft and the shoes are immediately comfortable to wear.

These shoes are more for casual times rather than work or serious walking. The shoe is roomy and doesn't look athletic but stitching on the top rubs against the foot. Not as supportive for standing like the clogs.
