I bought these for myself but my daughter stole them for herself to wear with her school uniform. They were comfortable from the very beginning and have held up wonderfully. We will definitely buy them again when she needs a new pair - which looks like it might be awhile!
I bought these shoe because I needed some shoes that I could do a lot of comfortable walking in while on a trip in New York, these shoes did not let me down. They were very comfortable, "a cush with every step." I will buy Born again.
Born Cielo in black is a very nice walking shoe. The only problem is with the sizing--I've had to go up to an 11 because the 10 was too small, although I normally wear a 10, and the 11 feels a bit big. However since I bought these for travel to distant, dusty lands, I'll just wear thicker hiking-type socks with them, and they will be fine. (I should add that the Born Cielo in BLACK is very attractive. Born makes the Cielo in brown and that is not so attractive--it looks somewhat like the old saddle shoes of the 1940s with both smooth and sueded leather of different colors.)
I love this shoe. Comfortable, stylish!
I use these shoes mostly for work. I stand at work a lot, and then walk a lot around school, sometimes all in the same day. At the end of the day, my feet feel tired of course, but never sore.
The only thing that bothered me at first was the heels felt a little stiff, but after a while they were "broken in" and didn't bother me anymore. Also, the bottom of the heel was not cushy enough for me so I added a small insert and have been ever so comfortable since.

Had to reorder a full size to fit; and insole seems too thin on left shoe causing sharp pains in back of knee. Had to add additional insert into this shoe to be able to wear painfree. I expect them to wear better once broken in.
