No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I wore Drew shoes for years and found them to be very comfortable and durable, and I would even wear them with jeans. But the last pair I purchased were to deep (hurt my ankles) and ran to wide in the width. Wore them to work only one night and never put them on again. I'm leary of paying another [$]and not having them fit like they used to. I think there made in China now!

Have been wearing Fitter for several years but this latest pair is not as comfortable--I think has construction flaws. It's too deep and has a couple bumps inside that create sore spots
