Unfortunately, Dansko no longer makes this style. I bought this shoe 3 years ago and now I'm buying it again (normal wear and tear)

The orthotics department recommended this shoe for my foot. I usually have to be in a sturdy running shoe for the support . Finally something black and dressy!

feels good on my feet. versitile...looks good with jeans or with a business suit.

Dansko has a good quality product, but does not offer the width someone with a high instep requires. The shoe is also different in that it is very stiff, almost unbendable. So like Birkenstock, unless it fits EXACTLY, it wont fit. Thats good when it does. It is impossible to make his shoe fit if it doesn't.The shoe seems well made, good leather, thick soles, grommets around the lace holes. Bu the sizing does not reflect the shoe. And it would be a good idea to know your Dansko size before ordering. [...] it takes a little of the sting out of having to return a pair of shoes.
