Cute shoe that could be very comfortable if you have a very wide foot. The toe box was huge! Also, sized longer than my other 2 pairs of Keens.

These Keens are great for work. I stand while I teach and walk miles to get to my building so I need comfortable walking shoes that have a dressier look. The Carmel style fits the bill while offering the feel of a Keen sandal.

I've been wanting these shoes for a long time and finally took the plunge. I LOVE THEM! They are so comfortable and they look great with shorts, skirts and especially, capris. It's hard to find shoes that look good with capris. There was no wearing-in period and I was able to go all day the first day I wore them. I'm glad I followed all the posts about getting them a half-size smaller than I usually do, because I wouldn't want them any bigger. I wear an 8 in the Keen Briggs and Portola (lace-up shoes), but that would have been too big for this shoe. Can't say enough good things about these shoes.

These Keen Carmel shoes are very comfortable and cute. I wear them every chance that I get. They go well with jeans or slacks. I have gotten several compliments on how cute these shoes are and how comfortable they look. I bought them in deep lichen (green) first and these are my second pair (in black). Love them, love them, love them!

I am required to have covered toes in a school where I work. These serve a dual purpose: as shoes and sandals but, with a back-strap and covered toes. They are perfect for "dress/casual" wear.
I was originally online to order a hiking type of shoe that a cousin in another state let me try on. I was so impressed, that I ordered a pair the minute my plane landed.
Order a pair -you will not be disappointed!

I am so happy i found these sandels! I had shopped everywhere for something duable, comfortable and fun. I was nervous about ordering shoes on-line, but would definately order from this brand again! They go anywhere, are great for walking and are cute.

I read the other reviews that stated the issue with the half to full size too big, but I ignored them since I ordered them in my 7th month of pregnancy and expected some foot spread. However, when I received them they were too big. These are my first pair of Keens and I got these specifically for a trip to Israel where a great deal of walking was expected. The foot bed is stupendous, I walked a ton and was on my feet a lot even when not walking, but remained comfortable throughout two week trip. I wouldn't trade this shoe for another, just a smaller size! Have already recommended these to all friends that will listen.

These shoes were comfortable from ground zero. I took them out of the box and wore them to work all day doing massage. My feet felt great! They look good, slightly dressy but oh so casual.

Wanted an all-purpose shoe for a trip I was taking -- lots of walking, but still wanted ot have something to wear with a skirt if I needed to dress up a little. Perfect for both. I ended up having to exchange the shoe for a 1/2 size smaller -- and the shoe is a little loose -- but I like a looser fit in a sandal. Like most sandals, not much support, but it is very comforable & attractive. Definitely would recommend.

Very comfortable sandal! Bought this to wear for business casual workplace for the summer to replace more tailored (i.e. uncomfortable) slingback flats. Big surprise was how comfortable this sandal was for a lengthy walk to and through a downtown arts fair then for another long walk to dinner. I would have been in tears had I tried that much walking in the slingbacks, but no problems in the Carmel sandals. My only complaint with these sandals is that the strap rubs some on top of my ankle, but I expect it will ease with a little more wear.

I love the Keen brand, would have a thousand pairs if I could afford it. Only complaint is that they are expensive for those of us that are on a budget. With that said these are wonderful shoes and I'm glad I got them. They have the square round toe shape that I like, makes those of us that have longer feet look smaller and they are very attractive on. Comfort is exceptional; as I get older shoes that are attractive and comfortable are a must. I stick mainly with the Clarks, Merrell, Born and Keen brands for this reason. No more heels :-) More of these options in size 10 would be great. It is very hard to find them in stores as the brand/size sells out extremely fast. Most shoes now have the narrow oval appearance so its hard to find the more rounded styles. Thank you onlineshoes! Would buy these shoes in every color and fabric type.

Wow! I wanted a pair of shoes that I could put on quickly and take the dog for long walks at an exercising pace. I hate putting running shoes and socks on in the summer but need shoes that can take a brisk pace for longer distances. These have been PERFECT! I've walked miles in them at my quick walking pace and have not have any blisters or hot spots. They've worn well through rain, in the garden, in my busy 2nd grade classroom, at my son's baseball tournaments. I simply love them and will get another pair as soon as I can. My only fear is that some day they will stop making them.

My feet feel like they just bought ocean-front property in Hawaii; they are happy! And I love that I can wear these shoes with shorts, skirts or pants-they look fantastic with everything. When I travel, I could simply take this one pair because they can go from a long hike to a fancy dinner.

Finally a Keen that truly fits in Size 11!!! I've been buying men's Keens since discovering them 3 years ago 'cause all the women's 11's were too short. Try this one if you want cute, sassy and fun - and for me - a feminine style and color. The only downside to this shoe is that the leather is a little flimsier than other Keen shoes, but that doesn't keep me from loving them or highly recommending them to others.

I bought these shoes for an upcoming trip to Italy and I already cannot wait to wear them there. They are VERY comofortable, comparable to my husband's Keen Newports. They go with everything, skirts, jeans, dresses, etc. I cannot wait to get another pair of Keens.

Keen makes the only comfort close-toed sandals I can find. My job requires toe protection and business casual dress. This shoe fills the bill and I own all the colors!!

This is a wonderful everyday shoe. There is a bit of a sizing issue. I usually wear a 8 or 8 1/2, but this shoe is a 7 1/2 and fits perfectly. I needed a shoe to wear at Disney, but I wanted to look like a hot Mommy... this shoe will help me look the part while being in total comfort. I would highly recommend this shoe to anyone.

This past fall I got the Keen Carmel in Rich Tea, and it is about the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned! And I REALLY like it's look. So, when I needed to get a black pair of shoes, I went straight for the Carmel again. However, the black leather seems a bit stiffer and less luxurious, the filigree isn't as noticible and the toe box looks different because it is black on black instead of the contrast between the leather and the rubber toe. As a result, I find this shoe looks a bit dowdy whereas the Rich Tea -- to me -- looks hip.

These are sooo cute! I ordered the Rich Tea (dark red) and just love the shade. I also think the swirl design accents add a nice touch. I absolutely love Keens. These are probably my 10th pair. However I ordered my usual 8 1/2 and had to exchange for an 8 (this hardly ever happens). Now they fit perfectly. Thanks to onlineshoes.com [...]

These are my third pair of Keens and the best ones yet! I am 8 and 1/2 months pregnant and had a considerable amount of foot pain which disappeared when I started wearing Keens. These are the most comfortable of the three I own. The strap provides stability, the foot bed is very cushiony and the color (which is a deep red) is more versatile than I expected. I highly recommend them, pregnant or not. If you constantly search for comfortable shoes, search no more!

I have recurring foot problems stemming from overly flexible, flat feet. I gave up on stylish, but to my delight, I found this shoe! They absorb shock, are flexible with no pressure points, and support my arch. Plus, the look isn't as stocky as some styles and passes as Office Casual quite nicely!

Cute shoes, great colors. Keens are always a little on the wide side so the ankle strap works well to keep them from slopping around. Lots of room for feet to be swollen in warm weather. The red color works perfectly as a neutral. I'm going to love these for the fall in Southern California.

I love these Keen shoes. They are light-weight and oh-so-versatile. I can wear them to work, to the beach, or to a movie with dinner date with my lovely hubby. It's my favorite pair of shoes just to loaf around in. I always get compliments when I wear it!

I really like the way these feel on my feet. I had to reorder a size smaller because the first pair I bought were too big. But I like them so much I wear them anyway too! I have somewhat wide feet and have a hard time finding shoes that don't bind across the ball of my foot. I've given up on heels. These shoes fit the width of my foot wonderfully and I love the style. I've worn these to work with pants and skirts. And my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. (I'm on my feet a lot) So I have two pair, the black and the brown. Although they don't have much arch support, I love everything else about them.

These shoes are super comfortable. The dressier styling, for a Keen shoe, lets me wear them to work, and they are so comfortable I can wear them to walk on my breaks.

Very comfy. I am always on my feet at work and need a practical shoe that I can wear with a skirt or dress. These are not to dressy and not too boring at the same time.

The Keen Carmel is the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I now wear them for long distance walking. At the end of the day, my feet feel so good, I prefer to leave them on!
