I bought these for work because I walk a lot and wanted to be fashionable without wearing running shoes. They are super comfortable and my feet don't hurt after 8-12 hours of being in them.

Honestly, I took these out of the box and wore them the remainder of the day. Great all day long. Shopping, work or fun. The style is sort of an updated loafer. I love them. Think I'll get a second pair.

Very good and comfortable shoes, although they needed some breaking in. By the 3d time it felt like I'd worn them forever. Also, very versatile: good for driving, walking, and even looked great with my Halloween Pocahontas costume :). The shoes give you a bit of height, so they are great for jeans, without the instability of a separated heel. Good shoes.

I would recommend this shoe to anyone- they are very comfortable even after 12 hours of wearing them. The only thing they fit loose, so I had to order down a size with them.

These shoes are cute and could be comfortable for the right foot. Unfortunately, I found that my high-arch feet with wide toes and narrow heels did not work in these shoes. The high heel rise on the shoe felt like they would create blisters, regardless of the size (I tried my regular size and 1/2 size larger which was better). Also, the shoe construction put a lot of weight on the ball of my foot that I thought would ultimately could lead to arch discomfort.

That being said, the shoes were cute, seemed well made and durable. They would have been good for walking and standing if my feet had fit the Merrill mold better.

I usually wear a 7 with socks but had to exchange for a 6-1/2. Was a half size too large to me. I have pins in both legs from a car accident and I needed a shoe that helped keep my gait correct. These shoes really do what they say. No they are not real cushy but if you need a stable and stylish shoe this one works. I wear them with jeans. Because of my injury I cannot wear shoes with a heel but this one I can because of the way the sole is constructed to give some height without feeling unbalanced. I also have to wear a heel lift in the left shoe because the leg is shorter and I can do this in this shoe without taking out the insole.

I expected these shoes to be way more comfortable then they were - the rubber on the toe made it feel like the size was too small. I was disappointed by how uncomfortable they felt.

This is a good shoe to wear with jeans when you don't want to wear sneakers. Runs true to size if you wear it barefoot; order a half size up if you plan to wear socks.

Ahhhh…were the words uttered when I stepped down into my Plaza Glide. The firm yet comfortable fit gave support to my tired heel spurs. In the past, when my feet would hit the floor in the morning, I would cried out with discomfort; however, since I’ve been wearing my Merrell Glides, I don’t experience that initial feet pain first thing in the morning. I’m thankful I found a shoe that is supportive, comfortable, and attractive. Because my Glides align with both my personally and professional lifestyles, I purchased two pair, one black and one brown. That’s quality!

These are great shoes for travel and casual work places. They look great with skirts and pants. I like to travel light so these have been a real space saver for weekend get aways. I've even done some light hiking in them.

I have knee problems and own several pairs of Merrills because they evenly distribute my weight in the shoe causing less stress on my knees. The Plaza Glides, however, put more weight on the front of my foot. I felt discomfort from just trying them on. I know that this isn't the norm for this brand so I am exchanging for a different style.

these are the most comfortable shoes i've ever worn. i usually find shoes uncomfortable and get blisters, rubbing, but with these, none. comfy right out of the box...like walking on air.

All of my Merrells are super-comfy; these are no exception, and look great with khakis or jeans. The removable footbed lets me insert my orthotics. Their arch support is so good, I don't need an orthotic some days or all day. The toebox has plenty of room; had I worn good shoes like this earlier on, I might not have developed neuromas.

I work at the airport and I am on my feet all day long. I also have problem feet and have a difficult time finding shoes that don't hurt and are cute as well. I wear a uniform and my shoes have to be black or brown. These shoes look great with my uniform. I am still trying to stretch them a little to accommodate my orthotic (insoles come out which is wonderful) and once I get that right, I think I will love them. I would recommend them; casual, comfortable and cute.

These are the most comfortable shoes that I've ever own. They also have great support for my arthritic knees. They are a little narrow, but I was able to stretch them. Great on snow and ice. However, if you get the souls wet and walk on a shiny or slippery when wet floor, you may slide. You just learn quickly to dry the soles off. That is the only negative thing about the shoes and it would not prevent me from buying another pair.

These are Mom's Merrells. The kids have their own. They are great shoes for any weather. They are casual and comfortable with that great Merrell sole, and look great with jeans or with dressier slacks.

This is a great Merrell that is dressier than their casual shoes. I was glad to find this - I need the support that Merrell provides, but wanted something nicer than the usual slides , mocs, or clogs that look somewhat clunky. These definitely fit the bill!!! I haven't worn them too much yet, but am looking forward to long, lasting comfort. They look like loafers..casual, but can wear with dressier slacks, or skirts.

I love Merrill shoes, however, I currently have swelling of my feet because of medications I am on and this shoe ran a little small for me even at my "larger" size. I would still recommend this shoe, however, for someone not going through what I am because Merrill makes the most comfortable shoe out there and I'm sure this is one of them! It is a nice looking shoe and is well made.

Hospital director-- on my feet all day. Comfy, sturdy and safe (great soles) shoes that have some style. Work with slacks and skirts--sole is a great conversation starter. Both black and brown are versatile.

I was excited to hear about the shoes and what all they could offer a women who works 10 hrs a day on her feet. Did try the in the house like the garnt. says you may, but they were to wide and small, even though I order a 1/2 size larger. I sent them back. I went to a local store to try Merrell's on and all the shoes fit different in width and size. Even though they seem to be a good confy shoe I would def. try them on! [...]
