These Keene's seemed to run a little smaller than my old Keen clogs, so I ordered a half size up. They are really sharp, and look ok with casual skirts or jeans. They seem to be taking a little longer to break in than I expected; they rub a little on the side of my foot where my toes bend...but the soles feel so good. I am hoping soon they will feel as good as my 2 other pairs of Keens, and I can wear them longer.

I was expecting good things from these shoes because I have been so fond of Keens in the past. They are pretty, but they are far too narrow for my somewhat-wide feet. I returned them immediately (thank you for the great return policy, onlineshoes!).

I got these for the hour + daily I walk around the city -- I'm pregnant and my feet are extra sensitive right now, so my regular clogs aren't working. The leather is soft enough, and the shoe is supportive, although I would like more arch support. I'll be putting some athletic arch supports in. I could have done with an 8.5 (my usual size) but went with a 9 so I could wear thick socks. They're still a little long, but any smaller and they'd be too narrow. Best thing is that they're very cute!

I took these shoes along with 3 other pair on a 2 week trip to Canada. These are the only pair I wore! They are perfect for walking with casual socks and perfect for dressy dinners with tights or dress socks. They look great with dress pants and also with jeans. From now on, I will need only ONE pair of shoes for travel and these Sydney II by Keen are the ones! When I took them out of the box , they fit perfectly from the moment I put them on. I read a review about a smell that may have had me send them back. I am chemically sensitive and could not detect any smell.

The strap that goes across the top of you foot has padding under it.
The shoe alleviated pain problems caused by my high instep and high arch. I LOVE it.

This is my second pair of these shoes after I wore the other ones forever! My first pair with daily wear did last a long time and I still wear them for gardening!
I would get all the colors of these if I could!

The shoes felt good right out of the box. Great toe room. This is my 3rd pair of Keen's. I love the fit of them. This pair had an everlasting fragrance added in the soles. OOH. I am very fragrance sensitive and couldn't stand to wear them. So I tried to exchange them for another pair. They have it too. So, unfortunately, they will have to go back as well. So, if you like your feet to smell like vanilla, go for it.

Sydney II's are comfortable. The strap has a pad underneath that adds to comfort. It's a cute Mary Jane style shoe.

These shoes are super cute and a great powder blue color. Feel wider than other Keens I have. Would prefer velcro over a buckle. But all in all great shoes.

People have sometimes suggested buying a 1/2 size larger--I didn't need to. I wear a size 9 and that is fine with (thin) socks.

This is my first pair of Keens, so I wanted to make sure they were exactly what I wanted. These are the most 'feminine' looking Keens I can find that don't look out of scale because of the characteristic toe wrap that sometimes overwhelms the rest of the shoe. I can wear with and without socks, and am pleased to find that without socks, there is no foot odor that happens from most sandals with a plastic footbed. I'm trying to find more outfits to go just with my shoes!

nice to find shoes in my size, most seem to start at size 6.
work at the post office and pushing, pulling and lifting all night. these are comfortable size wise, but wish they had a bit more cushioning.
have been told they were too cute. need them for constant walking. but wanted something a bit more stylish than sneakers (that aren't always comfortable). these fit the bill. found keen by accident and am glad i did.

I usually wear size 40 Euro and bought a 9.5 in these. I wear with socks and they're very comfortable, especially after a long day of walking.

This shoe is the next best thing to barefoot. I can wear it with jeans, shorts, and khakis and look stylish without my feet hurting from pointy strappy shoes. These are suitable for the business casual office, and the color is muted enough to go with most colors. Oh, and my feet aren't boiling hot when I wear them!

This is my second pair of Sydneys--just a different color. I spend a lot of time on my feet, and these have all-day comfort, even for my flat, beat-up feet. They also handle bad weather well, cleaning up easily. And, they look cute with a skirt or pants.

I got these to wear for summer with casual slacks or jean skirts. I tried wearing them with socks (since it is still cold in Seattle in March). They were very comfortable and look great. I will now be wearing them with pants and socks until the weather warms up.
I have a few pair of Keens. I like them because they are comfortable, durable and cute. I can wear them to work and go out for a brisk walk at lunch without having to change into "walking shoes".
feel prefect size and very very comforty for walking like as long walking and prefect fit to shoes just right size since my feets are small like 5 to 6 that shoes just right nt too big or funny....

This is my fifth pair of Keens and I love them! The Sydney II is a bit dressier than my other Keens, which is what I was looking for. They look great with a nice pair of jeans or capris. I've had tons of compliments on them and the fit is perfect! They make me feel like I'm wearing slippers, but they're very stylish. Bottom line - They're comfy, but hip looking. Nice!

Another great Keen for my closet. The color goes great with jeans, casual pants and even black slacks. Dressy enough for work, casual enough for play. Very comfortable!

These are more true to size than the Seattle. Which for me was at least one size too short in length. Anyway felt true to length, but a little on the wide side. Which allows to wear a heavier sock.
The color is a little darker than in the pic, but nice, midnite navy.

I was looking for a casual shoe, but found this one stylish enough to wear with causal dress pants. It is extremely comfy, and being tall, I was pleased to find the heel was not too tall. I would highly recommend this shoe, and will purchase the Keen brand again and again.

I have feet that are hard to buy for since I have had surgery on them in the past. These shoes do not smash your toes into a triangle. Before a trip to Italy I bought a pair the day before we left, something I do not normally do as all shoes need a 2 week break in period before they are comfortable for long distance walking. They fit me great and needed no break in period. I have purchases three pairs of black and 3 of brown since the first pair. I typically buy a new pair of each color every year for my "new pair" and wear the old ones around the house gardening. The shoes clean up quite well with a soft cloth and come water. No straps or soles have broken yet on any of the shoes.

so these seem a little more sporty than they appeared in the picture but they are still stylish. good with jeans and shorts but I would feel weird wearing them with a skirt or anything more dressy. They are a good walking shoe when you don't want tennis shoes.

I am on my feet all day at work and my feet and legs aren't tired at the end of the day like they used to be with my non-Keen shoes.

I was looking for a basic shoe that would fit my full length orthodic since I was tired of wearing running shoes all the time. These are still pretty sport but they look good with jeans and skirts. I removed the footbed and replaced it with my rx version and now I wear them all the time.
The fit was a little off. Normally I wear a 6 1/2 or sometimes a 7. The Syndey 7 would have fit perfect without socks so I'd say the shoe runs about 1/4 of a size small.
If I hadn't needed to fit this big clunky orthodic insole into the shoe. so I ended up with the 7 1/2.

These shoes are the best! They are comfortable enough to stand up to the miles of walking I do at work in a hospital and are stylish enough to wear with dressier clothes for an evening out. I would suggest buying a half size larger than usual, otherwise they are close to perfect

At first I had reservations about the color (because I have a tendency to wear black and brown), but found the green went with a lot of my slacks and jeans. You can't beat the comfort, great for shopping trips to the malls.

I love these shoes because I mostly wear clogs but wanted a different look with the same casual feel. I wear these with jeans, capris, khakis. They are great for a casual office environment too. I usually wear them without socks but just bought a few socks for the winter and they look fine with the shoes. I also have found that some Keen shoes don't fit true to size, but these definitely did (with socks or without).
I really wanted these shoes in shale, the only color where the little stiches on the vamp are red, but I couldn't find them in my size, 8.5. So I got the deep lichen, and used a red permanent marker to color the little "x's" red! It made them much cuter, and the lichen is actually a great color. They are super comfy, with cushioning on the strap and heel, and very durable. Keens are one of the only styles of shoes I can wear due to a foot injury, and these look perfect at work and on weekends. Now that it's getting colder, I wear them with socks and they still look great. When they got some spots on them, I just washed them off with soap and water and a little nail brush--no problem! Great shoes, and very popular north of San Francisco!

Having found the perfect shoe - I'm hooked on Keens. Starting seven years ago, I purchased the Newport, then onto the Seattle, Keen Santa Cruz, Keen Madison, Keen Sydney and just recently purchased the Keen Targhett II. What pleases me most about the Sydney is the shoe is stylish and hip, a comfortable foot bed that allows me to stand at my job for eight hours without discomfort of any kind, and the palette of colors available are most attractive.
Keen has proven that an everyday, comfortable show can be stylish
and versatile. A must for anyone who cares about comfort and style.

These are wonderful shoes - great appearance, fit, comfort and quality. I've always loved the mary jane style and these are a nice update on that. I love the off center design on the top of the shoe. I own these shoes in 2 colors and couldn't be more pleased with them.

This is one of those shoes that you can wear everyday with anything. I wore it for 2 weeks straight after I got them because I didn't want to wear anything else, and it really goes with everything! I even wore it in the rain and when it dried, it still looked brand new!

The front of the shoe cuts into my foot. It runs too narrow and too small. Ordered the same size as all of the 10 pair I have previously owned.

A shoe finally that gives me the stylish look I crave and a supportive cushioned heel with support.
To know how good these are you need to know about my foot and ankle issues. I have heelspurs, occasional leg and ankle swelling after 2 hip replacements, and stride stability issues which foces me to wear orthotic inserts.
Wasn't sure about the style of this shoe and a square-boot-toe look was a little broader than I am use to, but they are so comfortable on that I forget that I have shoes on at all. I can leave out my orthotics and I'm still OK.
Would buy them again in a heart-beat.

saw these shoes on a gal in the grocey check out line and knew then that I had to have them. I found them online and ordered them immediately. I have wide feet and they are so comfortable. I can walk forever in them and they are just as comfortable at the end of the day as when I put them on. I took them out-of-town for a Home and Garden show where my company had a booth. I had to be standing on a concrete floor all day and because of these shoes I was fine and comfortable all day. I will definitely order another pair and put them up- I am afraid I won't be able to get these one day. Not only are they comfortable, but really cute.
