I was dissappointed to find that the part that goes over the top of my foot over the arch was way too tight. So tight I couldn't stand in the shoe and hand to return them.

Shoe fit is smaller than size. I have several pair of Dansko shoes, and absolutely love them, so I was suprised that these didn't fit, but they were definitely too tight!

I love the Dansko brand because of the craftsmaship associated with the brand and the fact that their products *were* crafted in Denmark. Now, however, the shoes are made in China. The quality is still okay, but not as high as it was when the shoes were made in Denmark. That being said, this is a great shoe - it's comfortable out of the box, it's stable, looks nice, fits my wide feet and you can wear it all day long.
There are two things about this shoe I am disappointed with:
1. The left shoe came out of the box with the gray mold release residue still on the bottom and sides of the shoe. I had to scrub it off, which was no big deal, but I would have guessed that the quality check procedures would have caught this. (The bottom and the sides of the shoe should be BLACK, so coming out of the box GRAY was shocking.)
2. The outside toe box of the shoe wears quickly, believe it or not, and you will have to polish and brush it out about every two weeks to keep it from looking scuffed. I think this is due to the lower-grade materials being used.
Other than these two things, this is a great shoe.
I have a flat foot. The shoe provodes great support for the bottom of my foot. The uppers however are very stiff. On one foot the sides rub on my outside ankle and on the other, the uppers rubs on the top of my foot. I hope the leather eventually softens.

the instep on these shoes is so incredibly tight that i can't even get the shoe onto my foot. compared to other dansko products, these are a complete disaster. they will be returned!!!

Love this shoe. Have 4 pairs that I wear to work. provide great support and comfort for a 12 hour shift! Wish that shoes would not scuff so easily.

The shoes look great in the photos. Once they arrived though and I tried them on, I could not even get my foot inside the shoe.

I work on my feet all day long and have always wanted to try a pair of Dansko's. These are durable shoes but the leather scratches too easily. The sides of the shoe rubbed under my ankles so much they became soar. Needs some improvement there.
