I was a little nervous about ordering keens online since I hadn't ever tried them on, but I am completely happy with these shoes and plan to order another pair of keens from onlineshoes again soon. The only thing that bugged me a little was that the tongues were a bit stiff and rubbed my ankles at first, but by the third time I wore them that wasn't a problem at all. I've gotten multiple compliments on these shoes and am very happy that I purchased them. I also noticed some people said they were thin and therefore maybe not so good for cold weather but I find that they keep my feet perfectly warm with the right socks underneath. I also LOVE the footbed!

These shoes feel too stiff -- and too big. The laces are way too long. I'm not sure I will keep them.

Shoe looks great and made VERY well. I really like the "traction" on the sole of the shoe as it is substantial. I DO wish it had more cushion on the inside. It is very flat and cold feeling. I also get a slight heel rub from the heel edge. When I wear them I am trying different weight socks to see which works best to maybe end the heel rub. I am not sorry I bought them but not sure I would buy them again without adding gel inserts and confirming the no heel rub issue. I really wanted to love these shoes and not just like them.
I would recommend them but with a disclaimer ;)

These shoes are cute and very comfortable. I work on my feet all day and when I wear my Keens my feet are not nearly as tired as other shoes. This is my fourth pair of Keens and I love them just as much as the other 3!

I've worn these shoes every day since I opened the box.
Super comfortable.
The shoe is perfect for my daily routine.It also was beading up when I was in the rain. the shoe fits well with wool socks.. 2nd pair of Keens LOVE THEM.

This is the 2nd pair of portolas I have bought, The 1st pair were the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. The 2nd, not so much.
I bought them based on what the 1st pair felt like. But this pair is stiff and rubbed my ankles raw the first day so I couldn't wear them for a week or so. I love Keen and want to give these shoes a chance . Pair #1 look and feel totally different than this pair. They are a different color but thats it and they look a size bigger than #1
I am not happy with these shoes

I have six pair of Keens (sandals and slipons) and I ordered this style because I am having problems with my feet and my other Keen shoes are the only ones that prove really comfortable. But, it is nearly time to turn in sandals for the winter and the slipon, loafer style are not suitable for all outdoor activities. My initial tryout of these shoes was for a short walk and I found that they were a bit large in the heel but otherwise very comfortable. To adjust for the heel issue, I tried a different style of socks and they were fine. I wore them again for a morning when I was on my feet constantly sorting and places things for a community garage sale and they were quite comfortable. I'm sold on Keens!

Wanted this shoe to wear on a trip when I expected to be doing a lot of walking and some hiking. I thought it would look good both in the city and on the trail I did like the way it looked & the fabric seemed nice, but it just didn't fit properly. I tried a 1/2 size smaller, but it was just too wide -- especially in the heel. Did not seem to have much support. But perhaps if you have a wider foot it would be better.

This is my second pair of Portola's. The first pair I bought about 3 years ago in a size 8. This pair is size 7 1/2. Go figure? I still wear the first pair and they seem more comfortable. I'm not sure if the new ones need some breaking in or they really are more stiff. The medal lace rings hit at the wrong spot when I bend my foot to walk and cause slight pain. I don't remember that happening with my first pair. Still, I'm keeping these because I love them and have faith that they will conform to my foot.
I get constant compliments about how cute these shoes are!

These Keens are so comfortable right out of the box....as with all of my Keen products, there is no break in time! They have been great for the slushy, icy, weather! Great traction! Love them!

This pair fits like most Sketchers do- half a size smaller and a bit wider. While this makes your feet look adorable, it's a little tight about the toes. I'm not sure how other Keens fit so the odd fit may be only be the Portola.

These are great shoes. My second pair of Keens, and I love the comfort. The look cute with jeans or casual pants. They are great for walking around and would be perfect for traveling. Took no time to wear in. Although they look wide, I found them to fit true to size.

As usual, Keen has come up with an attractive shoe. However, these seem to run quite large and also seem kind of thin for autumn.

I am on my feet all day long and have problems with my back and my achilles these shoes are very comfortable. I also need to look stylish and I like a funky not an ordinary looking shoe they fit right in with my wardrobe. I have a tendency to like a wider shoe. This shoe is just right. Not too narrow, not too wide.

Excellent shoes. Incredibly cute and also very comfortable. Wonderfully cushy insole. The edge around the ankle needed a couple of days to break in but otherwise they are perfect! I will always buy Keens from now on!

I love Keens to begin with, and this one is no exception. I wore them to my son's soccer game in the pouring rain and my feet were dry the whole time. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great, comfortable, causal shoe.
This pair of shoes was comfy right out of the box! Bright red soft suede. I would say they run a half size small since I normally wear an 8 and had to buy the 8.5. Also is a "wider" shoe, if you have a more narrow foot I would say the Presidio would be better for you. A good deal!

Having not seen or felt this shoe in person I was expecting that nice, soft and supple leather all of my other Keen's have. This shoe was super stiff and after a few hours I had to remove them as I had pains in my feet in odd places. It's hard to explain because the fit seemed right. I really enjoyed the color combos and general style of this shoe so tried desperately to make them work but......
cute, comfortable, unique shoes; got a lot of compliments on them as soon as i wore them out and they felt good when i did so.

Excellent stylish shoe goes great with blue jeans and short, very comfortable shoe and the best part is you don?t have to break them in.

This shoe is very comfortable and light...not clunky at all. I also think this shoe comes in many fun/interesting color choices. Great casual shoe choice! The most comfortable shoe I've ever had!

Great all-round shoe. I like the looks and the feel. Inside is pretty flat, so I add some insoles with arch support. With those, very comfortable.

I love these shoes! I have problems finding comfortable shoes to accommodate my wide flat foot. This shoe has a wide box toe and arch support to make it comfortable to wear all day. It's adorable and durable to wear with all my casual clothes. I was so impressed with the comfort and style I bought them in 3 colors!

I've owned Keens before, but this pair has topped the list. My feet were warm through the snow in Montana. They are easy to get on and off when I'm traveling through airports. I stayed dry through a very wet Monterey winter. And I still feel like I'm wearing cute shoes when I go out to dinner, although they'd never be featured in Vogue. :)
