I am very happpy with these shoes. I wear a size 11 and have bunions but these are very comfortable and don't make my feet look huge. The arch support is very good and they have a very supportive sole. They look great with everything and seem to be very durable. The strap design gives it a very cute look. They also look good with socks for colder days. If you'd like a less casual look, try the leather version. I tried them on at a store and they fit very well also. The wool version is very cute too.

I thought they would have more arch support. However, my feet do not hurt at the end of the day like they do when I wear shoes with no support, so perhaps the support is in there but I just do not notice it.

Unfortunately, I'm either walking or standing all day on concrete floors. I especially like an alternative shoe like this Merrill Mary Jane to combine with funky socks so I don't always depend on running shoes.

A really cute shoe that is very lightweight, and great for walking around all day in. The mesh upper makes the shoe look like it is breathable but the bottoms of my feet get very sweaty after a short time, so the shoe isn't as breathable as it looks. For me this is the only downside. Otherwise, the shoe was comfy right out of the box, no blisters!
Also I usually wear a size 6.5 or a 7, I was surprised that I had to exchange these for a size 6. So definitely consider ordering a half size smaller than your usual size, Merrells seem to run quite large.

Although the fabric's a little stiff, these shoes are so comfortable, and my feet adjusted to the stiffness pretty quickly. They're great summer walking shoes, hanging out shoes, and cute enough for work.

I am a nurse and I wear these shoes when I am working. I am on my feet all day and I have to have comfortable shoes to work in. These shoes are it! They are very comfortable and I have gotten several comments on how cute and stylish they look.

Very comfy!! I love the fact that the strap is adjustable with velcro. However, I only gave it 4 stars because the edge of the strap was scraping across the top of my foot and caused a red spot no matter how many times I adjusted it. But I still love them!

My friend bought these and I tried them on. My next step was to go to the mall. My size ws not available so I tried trusty Online Shoes.
I ordered them in the afternoon and somehow they arrived the next day! I have bad feet and Merrells in general are a great fit. These are cute AND comfortable. Two other friends have since purchased a pair each. Oh, BTW, they were less expensive on your site plus I had a coupon. I do recommend you go down a half size.

Based on previous references, I bought these shoes prior to a trip abroad. As a sufferer of heel pain, it was important to have shoes with signficant cushioning and support that were not bulky or heavy in luggage. These Merrills fit the bill! They are lightweight and easily packable. More importantly, they cushioned my feet so well on pavement, cobblestones, and rural terrain that I threw away the other shoes I had brought as alternatives. Comfortable and trendy, they worked for long days of walking to dinners out, from climbing sunny vistas to touring in the rain. I am very happy with their continued performance and am looking forward to ordering additional Merrills for autumn.

I work in one of our National Parks. I needto look professional, but I had to have a shoe I could climb in, go to the beach, and be back at the desk and look clean! When I was hot I could wear these without socks, during cool/cold months, some warm socks accentuate these mary janes. I have to be on my feet for many hours. It was a snap to slip my orthotics into them. Because I had to be outside in the dirt amongst the trees, all I has to so was to run some water over them in the sink, gently brush with mild dish liquid soap, gently scrub with vegetable brush, they came out sprakling clean. A major plus for me during the tourist season!! Thank you
I love Merrells, but these are the best yet. Very comfortable and cute. Myself and 2 friends bought these and all needed to buy a 1/2 size down. I have very bad foot problems and often wear orthotics. I do not need to with these shoes.

As a nurse, I'm on my feet constantly, and have found that Merrells give me great support. I have a narrow foot, and the Merrell Primo has always been a perfect fit. This shoe fits like Primo, and I love the style! I wear it with my scrubs and with jeans & khakis.

These shoes, both the lime and the grey, were so cute. I tried tightening the strap, but my heels were constantly slipping out of the shoes. The shoes felt like the right size, but even though they were so cute, I knew I'd go nuts having my heels slipping in and out of the backs of them. I sadly returned them.

This is a great shoe, at first didn't like it because I looked down and thought my feet looked funny, also when I first tried it on it seemed half a size too big and a little to wide, after wearing the first time shoe seemed to form to my feet and now I am sure am going to wear them out I do a lot of traveling and they are great walking shoes.

I took only these shoes on a recent trip -- tromped all over Italy for three weeks and never had one comfort problem. They got soaked several times; were worn on very hot days while walking many miles; and never smelled or stained!!! Highly recommend these shoes for comfort and for travel.

The Encore MJ is incredibly cute and it's comfortable too. Every time I wear them I get tons of compliments. My clients and friends like the shoe so much they've gone out and bought a pair for themselves. I'd highly recommend this shoe.

This shoe offers good support and is comfortable for all day wear. My foot is slightly on the narrow side - I adjusted the velcro strap which secures the fit. If you have a really narrow foot, this shoe would not fit properly. But otherwise, this is a great shoe.

I was so looking forward to receiving these shoes to use on my vacation. They are darling! The insole is very comfortable while standing. However, the strap was so long for my size 5 feet--the shoe seems quite wide. My heels wouldn't stay inside the shoes and slipped up and down. After wearing them around the house for a couple of days, I realized that they wouldn't work for me. I just knew that if I tried to wear them for a lot of walking, the little "lip" of the heel would cause me to get blisters/sore heels. Sadly, I had to return them.

I love these shoes! I'm a fan of Merrells - this is my third pair. Finding "the perfect shoe" is always a frustrating process. I have high arches, knee replacements (both knees) and other orthopaedic/medical issues. Factor into the equation that I work in a professional artistic environment. Having light-weight, supportive, comfortable yet stylishly versatile shoes is vital, but often difficult to find. These shoes meet all my requirements so well that they have quickly become my everyday shoes giving my feet and knees the necessary breaks between those few times I have to wear the dressier shoes (feet killing, archless high heels) to work. But wait, there's more - they're so versatile that they are my weekend shoes too! These shoes have the comfort, support and style to go with any outfit and make all day running a breeze.

I purchased these shoes primarily for use at work, but I find myself wearing them all the time! My work requires closed toes on shoes year round and the room temperature can be warm. I hate having my toes covered in the summer. These are the first closed toe shoes that I enjoy wearing. They are so comfortable and light weight and the mesh material breathes nicely. I am comfortable in these shoes all day long. The Mary Jane style helps dress them up a bit which works well for me as I wear casual dress clothes to work. The word about these shoes has spread through my family. My Sister and Mom are both had to have a pair and are enjoying them as much as me.

I have suffered from lower back pain everyday for years, I decided to by Merrell only because my sister had a pair and I just loved the comfy feel of them. But, much to my surprise after wearing mine for just a few days, my back pain has gone away. So, I ordered another pair of Merrells and found a pair of sandals locally. Merrell is all I will wear now. And my son is getting a pair for his birthday!

I hesitated about buying this particular Merrell shoe, even though I have several Merrell sandals and mules/clogs. Wondered if there would be enough support across top of foot...No worries about the fit, comfort, or adjustability after wearing them almost every day on recent two week vacation. They are terrific. I would buy them over and over again!

After spending last summer in Crocs, which I loved but my husband hated, I've been living in these since the weather warmed up! I've had several comments on how cute they are. The straps on some Merrell mary janes have been too tight across my high in-step, but this strap is adjustable. I also have marginally wide feet and a high arch, and the shoe is very comfortable overall for me. I have plantar fasciitis, so my shoe options are limited. No cute ballet flats or flip-flops for me - I'm usually in Danskos or Keens. These are a little more femine than Keens but not as dressy as Dansko sandals - a perfect compromise for day-to-day wear with skorts and crops. The only reason I didn't give them the full 5-star rating is that I'm a little concerned about the footbed liner, which is coming apart at the heel a bit.

Order a half-size down from your regular size.
They wash beautifully with a little Dawn and a toothbrush to remove any dirt spots or stains you may pick up.
I hope Merrell comes out with a red version too.

Took a chance taking these new shoes to Italy --- WOW is all I can say. I tromped all over the country for 3 weeks in these and they didn't get dirty at all. They go soaked in heavy rain and were worn on dusty, dirty streets and fields and they still look brand new! They might be just a half size bigger than standard fit BUT for the summer, that's preferable. They are, by far, the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn -- including the many other pairs of Merrells I own! In fact, I'm right now ordering two more pair in different colors. BUY THEM!!

Really enjoy Merrell shoes and these shoes are very comfortable and can be worn all day. The strap adds dress to the style, but these can be worn casual dress or with jeans.
I ordered a half-size smaller than I normally wear (size 8) but could have gone one full size down to a 7 because of the open back. However, they fit well because of the adjustable strap.
The extra room in the toe box is a plus for comfort. The color (taupe) I ordered was somewhat darker than what was pictured - "toast" might be a better color name. Would order these again.

As with all shoes by Merrell, these are incredibly comfortable from the very first day you wear them; they also happen to be adorable. Wear them with shorts, skirts, jeans, any casual summer wear, and you'll look stylish and happy. No break-in period AT ALL. Long live Merrell!!!

I have a wide foot and I generally have to order wide width; however Merrells always fit me perfectly. They were a half-size too long, & exchanged them for a half-size down. There was no break-in period with these cute Mary Janes. I get lots of compliments and they are great with capri's. I wear them with some skirts as well. Very comfy to walk around town for the day. They slip off and on easy. They keep my feet dry (nice wicking), cool and comfortable. I want to buy more in other colors. My Mom bought a pair also after trying on mine. Overall: I Love them!!!

I wear this shoe at work. I am doing heavy physical work, but still need to look professional. This shoe allows me to wear the othotic the doctor orders. I breathes well, great stabilily, and down right cute. I will order more colors. I have no foot pain at the end of a grilling 8-10 hour shift. Best shoe I have ever had!!

Very nice casual shoe. Merrell continues to make a great shoe that is stylish yet comforable and great to wear. The Beige color goes with everything. They do fit a bit wider than I expected. The half size down was perfect. I would be tempted to buy in other colors. Great slide on shoe with a tennis shoe feel. I expect to get a lot of wear out of this shoe over the summer.
